Here in Hawaii, goose hunting is illegal. The nene sometimes called a Canada goose, is a species hunted to near extinction during the whaling years.

As a bird hunter (turkey, pheasant, quail, partridge, dove), I don't know the answers to your questions. But I'd really like to know if you'd post them or Freepmail me.

When I saw that video on Fox News the questions that came to my mind were: Who killed the goose/geese (certainly not Kerry!); Did the pool reporters hear any shots fired?; Just how freshly killed were those birds? (I'm sure you're familiar with the urban legend about the husband who said he was going fishing but did something else and in order to prove that he went fishing stopped at the grocery store to pick up some whole fish and then the wife found them to be already gutted and scaled.)

I think he miscalculated the animal rights crowd. A good number of them would be less bothered to think that Bush is responsible for the death of anybody than they would be bothered by the killing of an animal.
