I'm concerned and praying for his safety and wellbeing. I am so thankful things went well today.
What a privilege to host that huge pep rally, good for Jax. Practice for the super bowl? Though they need to do something about the traffic patterns through downtown to help folks clear out -- yikes!

I don't know. I just called RPI to find out. They aren't answering their phones. I have a couple of personal cell numbers I'm going to check out before 9:00
Just received a call back from the primary operative in the Bush campaign.
Bush is in Council Bluff and Davenport on Monday. The tickets are all gone. He's in Dubuque on Tuesday, there are tickets left. I'm not sure I want to drag my butt all the way over there again. I saw him in Dubuque earlier in the campaign. It's a 2 hr drive.
Inside information is that this isn't the end. Which means they don't feel that Iowa is sewn up yet.
I like the sound of that.
Iowa just shouldn't be a Kerry state...too corny!

I thought I was the only one to notice. We have 3 minute soundbites of Kerry played throughout the day and mere seconds showing GWB. They cut away today just as Bush was due to enter the stadium.
For over a month, Kerry wouldn't even talk to his reporters or take any questions from them - I wonder if he's still shutting them out? Personally, I hope they have nightmares about covering him for the rest of their lives. They've lived with him for months, so they all know what a nasty, elitist, soulless phony he is. Yet they still dutifully recycle the daily talking points his aides give them and call them "columns," they still sneer at and curl their lips in contempt of George Bush and his supporters, and they'll all unhesitatingly vote for him on Nov. 2 and try to make this eminently unqualified empty suit our next President.
Even for the extreme lefty reporters it's got to be tedious.
