Please note Cedric that I am not directing this to you personally but just a general notice to all who seem so suspicious of new folks. It could be that we are just people out here fighting the good fight like the rest of you
Please note I am not directing this at you personally Rather as just a general notice to all new folk here. Maybe because we see all these supposed "Bush supporters" who come on here and spend all their time trashing Bush. Maybe because the Political Left is running quite possibly the most despicable low down slime campaign of any Modern US Presidential campaign. So maybe instead of coming on a Conservative Website and spending all their time trashing Bush, and the Republicans, some newbies might take a bit more balanced an approach. Instead of spending all their time being hysterical negative, maybe some newbies should spend a bit more time being balanced. Seem too many newbies confuse hysteric criticism of what is suppose to be their own side with Intellectual Sophistication. Maybe if you newbies were a bit more balanced and a LOT less hysterically critical, people would give them the benefit of the doubt. However, as long as so many newbies insist on being intellectually monochromatic, people are going to be, rightfully, suspicious of their motivations and honesty.

"I'm also surprised the GOP has released their internals. Usually, releasing internals is something that the losing side does."
I wouldn't worry about that, remember this is from the Washington Whispers column, its not like the Bush team gave a press conference. They given hints on internals all year in certain states, so has Kerry's camp.

In 1992 and 2000, last minute dirt by democrats were worth at least 3-5 percentage points.

Well, I signed up May 17, 1998, and the statement you quoted is absolutely true.
Do you have anything to say to dispute it, other than the fact that it was posted by a newbie?

Yes, I was kind of surprised since BOTH sides are doing it. The Kerry camp is running around boasting about being "UP 5 in Ohio, Winning in FLA, tied in Ark". Could it be with all the new registration and so forth we really have NO idea where we are at and BOTH sides are worried?

Reagan had just as much a MSM that was against him (in many ways it could have even been worse. Considering there wasn't a FOX news, no Internet, etc). - Yet Reagan took it to Mondale all of 1984 - Really? Huh I didn't know that Reagan had fraudulent memos used against him and a propaganda movie that would make goebbels proud pushed by MSM.(/sarcasm)
You are still a troll. Pretty patheitc one at that.

3%? Vote fraud can easily top that. We need a huge GOP turnout on Tuesday next.

I think the problem with polls, even in states where do you poll? If you poll in metro area or rural areas, major swings could happen. I think that is why it all depends on turn out, I hate the cliche but it is true.

We know their game but most of the country does not. The most significant group of undecided voters are women. That is why the polls keep shifting. Laura Bush and Karen Hughes are working very hard to win and influence those undecided women voters. They will not lock in to one side or the other until the last minute. Hopefully they will vote for the children's and grandchildren's future. Otherwise they will never have a chance to undo their vote and prevent a nuclear attack on an American city.
John F. Kerry will not defend America. He will undermine our nation and hand victory to the terrorists. That is his legacy from Vietnam until today.

Source for this rather amazing bit of disinformation? JA number has almost NO correlation with election performance unless it is unusually high or unusually low. Any professional poller will tell you that. So where did you get fed this rather amazing bit of disinformation? This is one of the things that makes this election so difficult, Bush is almost at 50% but not quite so no pro is quite willing to make a guess as to which way everything will shake out.

Yep Turn out Turn out Turn out. That is why there is all these number games From now to election day both sides are going EVERYTHING to fire up their voters and depress the other sides voters. All this gassing about POlls is just so much BS to pass the time

50-47 leaves a lot in question. Bush is polling better in California, New York and New Jersey then in 2000 which can mean a lot of votes but no electoral college votes. Good point.

Source for this rather amazing bit of disinformation? Tell me the name of one US President who has been reelected while polling under 50% one week before the election, and I will accept that you are right.
Look, I've been here for six and a half years, and, God willing, I will be here for the end of the Kerry administration.
But you cannot ignore the very alarming condition of the polls on D-minus-eight, and you certainly cannot call it disinformation.

Wow! How unfortunate for me that my post got pushed in between your discussion with sunkillmoon (sp?). I am still mulling over the intellectually monochromatic thing; it is a pretty decent zinger. I may borrow that one in the future if you don't mind. BTW, I won't be taking your post personally but I "feel your pain" and I "appreciate your feelings".
Come on Johnnie, lighten up. In 9 days, Bush will be declared the winner and all will be well.
