Lots of posts are "undocumented" and "unsubstantiated" they are opinions. In any event, the arguemnt was very easily defeated just by one simple statement: Which poll does one use to calculate AR? Done.

You know something? Words like "wild", "panic mongering", etc..." those words conjure up quite a vivid mental picture. I would like to think that freepers are not subject to such emotional states levereged on them by DU trolls.

Hell, this guy's original posts are now gone. IMHO, if we are going to do this, the entire thread ought to be zotted. Not out of fairness, mind you, but I think that leaving the original thread untouched would have at least let folks post good rebuttal to skeptic14s assertion. Now that cannot even be done.

Okay. How do the rantings of any liberal disrupt anything? Most of their crap is easily refuted, and it is just as easy to refute their argument as it is to post cutsie zot jpgs in a thread. And easier to ignore it.

To all those among us who just discovered voter fraud, let me assure you that, yes it is factored into all sophisticated calculations. Anyone who has studied political science or who has worked in politics knew about it very well. Apparently, the public did not. I was thrilled when Bush called Al Gore's bluff and decided to fight in 2000. I felt as if he was bringing about his first reform by getting it out in the public eye. In fact, there will probably be less fraud this year because some states made reforms and there will be a lot more people watching at the polls to prevent it.

50-47 leaves a lot in question. Bush is polling better in California, New York and New Jersey then in 2000 which can mean a lot of votes but no electoral college votes. We need those votes in Ohio, Florida,and Pennsylvania.

Agreed. Today Cheney says it will be 52-47. Last week he said +8 in Ohio. Sources say Bush is going to PA and NJ in part to ensure that he wins the popular vote in addition to the EC. But I still remember FL was +5 the week before the election in 2000 ...
