Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest Tuesday Scott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.

Yep,.,,, But she and those defense witnesses, did how Geragos wanted them to testify! The parents testimony was full of holes once you tore apart word from word... Many holes...
Heard also that the jurors were very bored with Geragos's witnesses....and made snickering faces at scotty......

I don't have any doubt that this is Scott's handiwork. And the Jury has the DUTY, imo, to exact Justice as in the Guilty/ with Death Penalty!! The way he would die is a lot more humane that what he gave his wife and baby. I actually heard this morning on Lisa Bloom and James Curtis show that the reason the dog didn't hit on the tool box or the truck bed or boat was because she was only knocked out and not dead yet. That means, she drowned!! She was wrapped in a tarp with weights attached to her ans still alive possibly. Then unmercifully dumped into the San Fransciso Bay. Oh he deserves death alright.
I read today on WS that the Prosecution already has those bank documents but they are under seal with the Judge. I suppose since Geragos allowed Ms. Peterson to kick that door open, that they could use them. Even if they are just entered as Exhibits. Also, this morning, I HEARD WITH MY OWN EARS, Lisa and James talking by phone with a lady from Torry Pines Golf Course who said that NOBODY can use another Members membership to play golf. Their Memberships are NON-TRANSFERABLE. And they must be picture proven. ANOTHER big fat LIE!!

Really? The date the account was opened was TOO LATE for what Jackie said to have been true? Wow, she's caught, then. Now the only reason I can see for the prosecution not bringing that up in rebuttal would be, they might be perceived to be "picking on his poor sick mother".
One kind of bad thing I read at another site. The sick juror is thought to be... the TEAMSTER! DRAT, DRAT, DRAT! Why does it have to be HIM?? They say he has a doctor's app't. tomorrow morning so they are starting court at 1:30.
Gad, I hope he lasts all the way through. Or, I hope the first alternate thinks just like he does.
And that doctor lawyer guy has got me a bit worried again. I can't seem to decide what I think he will do. They say he was watching Scott's demeanor VERY CAREFULLY in Scott's video interviews. If so, maybe he also caught the obvious FALSENESS in Scott's voice in that later conversation with his brother John. I heard that one on TV a couple days ago, and I thought I could hear real faking in Scott's voice when he said, "Guess I won't be able to play golf today." If I heard it, maybe that doctor/lawyer juror heard it, too.
I notice that Jackie Peterson uses her 02 fashion statement whenever it fits the "poor ole sick lady" act that she wishes to portray. Other times she trots along without that tank with seemingly no problem.
That Horowitz is so slimy, he leaves a slug trail across the TV screen every time he's on!

Yes that's what I heard too. I hope there is the cement expert, the lady from the bank, the lady from Torry Pines, an officer to state that they did NOT take any vehicles except his original truck, and then maybe Sharon.
Sadly, it seems women in general get more lenient treatment than men, at the hands of the law. I guess it doesn't matter too much when it's something like Jackie's pathetic lies, but it matters to me to see women like Mary Kay LeTourneau or Susan Smith get less than the max!
