Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest TuesdayScott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.
The defense maintains ........

Glad to see they got the info on the bank account! The Petersons have put Sharon through hell for another year. And they knew all along that Scott was lying. I hope they're broke after stealing all this time from ALL of our lives!

That was what I read on WS about the banking documents. That the Judge has them under seal. It was a good source that posted it so I'll take it as being authentic. Wonder if the Judge will let them use it tho? I don't see why not. Jackie Peterson testified about them. He has the right to impeach her!

know, I can't wait until the presidential elections are OVER!!! RB, that is all I hear everyone saying. So sick of this dirty, mudslinging campaign & everything the RATS say is the "TRUTH" you know!
And, AMEN to the Peterson case, was kind of shocked MG didn't put on dear old Dr. Lee, but I think he knew he couldn't help his case in any way!
