Four reportedly killed in explosion in TA's Carmel Market
By MATTHEW GUTMAN
Four people were reportedly killed and several others were wounded when a large explosion occurred in the Carmel Market in Central Tel Aviv at 11:00 p.m. Monday.
The explosion occurred at a stall on the corners of Rambam and Ha'Carmel streets, at the center of the outdoor market.
Ambulances are having a hard time driving through the narrow and crowded streets to get closer to the scene.
Police say there was no specific warnings for the Carmel market.
A body of a suspected male suicide bomber has been found at the scene, Army Radio reported. Eleven wounded, one critically.
Yossi, a bystander speaking with Israel Radio a few minutes after the explosion, said he heard a large blast near one of the stands. He estimated several people were wounded or even killed in the attack.
Magen David Adom spokesman Yeruham Mandola said MDA was treating "a large number of casualties." The wounded are being evacuated to Ichilov Hospital.
Police and rescue forces are on their way to the scene, and ambulances sirens were heard in the surrounding streets.
Police suspect that there may be other bombs in the area.
Police have set up checkpoints in the area.
The reason for the explosion is still not known.

Explosion Kills Four in Tel Aviv Market
The Associated Press
TEL AVIV, Israel
An explosion went off Monday in a crowded open-air market in Tel Aviv, and a TV report said at least four people were killed.
Paramedics said dozens of shoppers were hurt in the blast in the Carmel market.
The cause of the explosion remained unclear, and police were still checking whether Palestinian militants or criminals were involved, or whether it was an accident.
A witness, who was identified only by his first name, Motti, said he heard an explosion in the market. "I thought maybe fireworks, or a gas canister. But then I saw a store, completely destroyed. Goods fell to the ground. People ran away. I lost my glasses and my hat," Motti told Israel Army Radio.
Israel TV's Channel Two, quoting a local fire chief, said four people were killed.
Yeruham Mendola, a spokesman for the Magen David Adom rescue service, said dozens of people were hurt.
According to Haaretz, the number of dead is 3 (actually only 2, the scum bomber doesn't count in my opinion) and all 30 injured have been evactuated...

Haaretz: 2 dead, 30 wounded (one critical, 2 serious)...
Prayers for the victims and their families.
Quick, tell Kerry to get his cape
It's more likely that he's going to poll how he should react.
More dead.
It will never end.
Prayers for the injured and families.
HINT, HINT: It WILL NOT end when houses alone are removed.
