In 2000, Rush missed the mark by a mile. He was predicting a blowout by Bush but, of course, that didn't happen. I doubt Rush knows any more than any of us. What he is doing today is comparing Osama Bin Laden to the Kerry campaign.

It reminded me of something. I saw Farenheit 911 over the weekend and feel that this movie is a big part of this campaign. Top democrats have spoken highly of it. Michael Moore sat in a place of honor at the Democrat National Convention! And yet, John Kerry has never been forced to take a position on this opinions of this man who now runs the Democrat Party!!!!! That is IN-freaking-SANE!!!!

Don't sweat the polls. Remember 2002, polls were wrong. Remember the Missouri vote on the Marriage Amendment, polls were off by 14 percent.

Can you refresh my memory? How off were they about Gore and Bush?

Y'all, I am getting so nervous. My husband is so confident W will take the EV with 300+. I'm a natural worrier and I'm, uh, worried. The tension in my office today is pretty high. I handed out Bush/Cheney stickers to those voting for W and the Kerry/Edwards people are being quite cold today.

Not 2000 polls, 2002 midterms.

It was predicted that the Republicans would lose seats in the House and Senate.

After all, that's what always happens at midterms we were told.

This place (FR) was pretty gloomy on election day until the results started coming in, then it was like a wild party.

Wonder if threads are archived back that far, what happened was beyond belief, we were picking up seats in the Senate and House.

Sounds like Rush is monitoring FR. He will avoid the histrionics, heat and passion today and trying to be seriously reasonable. Base is fired up, but people are searching all over for information. He's stunned the OBL tape isn't having more of an effect. We've had 3 years of outrageous vitriol against GWB. (He lists some of it; it's pretty funny, really.)

Well, in a manner of speaking, it was a blowout......if you consider that USA today county by county map.....the "red" map. :)

That's funny. I remember him saying that Bush was going to win by five to seven points.

Rush sounds sad and somber

I don't know how anyone in this nation can NOT be sad and somber when HALF of our country is on Osama Bin Ladin's SIDE. The Dims have been echoing his spew for 18 months after the bastard attacked OUR COUNTRY!!!

To me anything other than an OVERWHELMING victory for GW is reason for some sadness. A defeat of George Bush, while unthinkable to me, is yet possible, and that possiblity scares the hell out of me, not for what will happen in the WOT, as much as it will say the we as a NATION are socialists and ready for a ONE WORLD UN run nation. It will also say LOUD AND CLEAR that WE AS A NATION concede defeat. OBL wins by default!!!

Rush did say that WE all must FIGHT ON EVEN FOR THOSE that don't know any better. That is what our military does daily and what we all must do if faced with the unthinkable.

Borders on hate? I'll admit I HATE Kerry!!! Why couldn't the Dems nominate someone like Breaux, Lieberman or even Gephardt?

Something has happened to our country. It's called the dumbing down of America. Just because the media covers for Kerry doesn't mean that people have to fall for it. The whole method of operation for the democrats is to keep people stupid and poor and it is working. Can it be reversed? I'm not real hopeful.
