You and I are probably in the minority, but this would really be an answer! A lot of these countries ARE playing and sponsoring terror while maintaining plausible deniability by supporting these terror operatives covertly. Call a spade a spade. Say it the way it is as Bush did with his "axis of evil" where some laughed but he was actually 100% dead on. If we see terrorism we should retaliate, as we did in Afghanistan and Iraq. If they use nukes anywhere we SHOULD retaliate disproportionately by turning their whole country into a glass palace and ending their entire civilization. If you’re dealing with an idiot who can’t be dealt with by any other means; where economic, political and rational appeals have all failed, yet he insists on your destruction (not defeat, big difference) you are left with NO option other to fight. Many don’t see this, but we really have no options here and just blasting them to hell would be a viable solution to this problem. The alternative is decades of pain, thousands of US soldiers’ dead, billions and over decades maybe even a trillion plus spent on something which could be ended with one REAL “Shock and Awe” event such as plastering Iran with 40-50 nukes strategically placed in a near simultaneous attack.

Just because we're focused on Iraq now don't mean we should foget all other potential threats! Systems take YEARS to design and build and after we're attacked it's a little late. We need to worry about the "full spectrum" of threats out there and develop systems to meet the requirements if that contingencey should arise.

Now I remember. It's been bugging me! It was "thug in a cheap suit and a bad haircut." At least I think so. I always thought it sounded like something out of a Micky Spillane novel (not that I've ever read a Micky Spillane novel).
It's simple really. Make an announcement: "If a nuclear device explodes in any US city, I will choose three Islamic capitals by random draw from a hat and nuke them into oblivion. Every day, I will choose three more, until the responsible parties surrender." That is how you handle terror.
My God, can you imagine what will happen to Muslims in this country if they set off a nuke? 100,000 Americans die from a nuke and 6 million Muslims will be dragged into the streets and shot.
