PENNSYLVANIA GOING TO BUSH!?!?!?!
11-02-04 | Josh in PA

Posted on 11/02/2004 5:35:26 AM PST by Josh in PA

I have been doing work for two candidates, One a guy running for PA State House, and another one in the US House (John Peterson)... From what I'm hearing higher up in the campaigns, the GOP voting turnout in this rural area of PA (that went 62-34 to Bush) is OFF THE FRICKIN CHARTS!!!

They actually think Pennsylvania is going to goto Bush.. I'll get more when I hear it!!!!!

Greetings Pennsylvanians! I am unfortunately from the State of the Hildebeast and Chuckie, so I feel as though my vote this morning for "W" will be cancelled by far too many "red-diaper-doper-babies."

I had tears in my eyes reading about the possibillity of a big Amish turnout. I can just imagine these simple Godly people going from door to door in their enclaves, sharing the extraordinary message they have recieved. They have heard HIS calling. The rural roads are clogged with an army of wagons, horses and young people on foot. The town people have never seen such a sight. Local media are sending images of this extraordinary event to the major networks. Some reporters are stopping them outside the poling place asking them, "why have you come and who are you voting for?" Everyone one of them says almost the same thing, "We are here to vote for our president Mr. Bush, because God put it in our hearts to do so."

Even the normaly arrogant reporters are dumbstruck. A chilling thought sweeps through their cold liberal minds - "could this be a sign of something very big in this election?"

From my imagination to God's ear and hopefully His heart too.

Rick Santorum was driving and talking on his cell phone to Steve Doocy. He was very upbeat about what western PA was going to do. He said no pollster has any way to guage the level of turnout in rural western PA, because nothing like it has ever happened before. I am not predicting anything. I report, you decide.

I live in Carbon County, a small rural area in the western poconos. I was in line to vote at 6:50 and there was a line of approx 30 voters ahead of me. I was told that this is the longest line ever.

I'm a little concerned about what is going to happen in Carbon and surrounding counties. There's a lot of old coal mining DemoRats still around there. But I hope they are trending towards Bush - sort of like WV.

That's a good story. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who see's the biblical references to the importance of this election. Make no mistake, that it only our faith, the "continuing harvest" that keeps those end time prophacies from being fullfilled. When this harvest stops, heavens gate closes, God's clock ticks forward.

An interesting view of these prophacies is available here in an online book:

The key word is "Rural." Philly and Pittsburg will more than make up for it, and the DemonRats are shipping in New Yorkers to vote for Kerry.

How are things looking up y'alls way? Down here my little precinct was busy this morning! I have never seen it so busy! According to the bumper sticker poll out my way, it's Bush... (my precinct is out of Lewisburg, though.) Downtowners may be a draw.....

I made my amends in post 205. And again, I am sorry! What I wrote was wrong(incomplete) - it is directed at the Labor Unions of Philly and Pitt that are intimidating pollsters as we speak.

We had someone representing MoveOn at our polls too. My coummunity overwhelmingly supported Bush in the last election and supported Carl Levin's and Debbie Stabenow's opponents in the last senate elections.

AMISH TO THE RESCUE? I wouldn't be too sure about that. The Amish are hard core pacifist. I know this first hand having worshipped with and lived for a time with them down here in Seymour MO. They want nothing to do with war. They are decent people though who work hard and enjoy their life.

(The rural and suburban areas (assumably more Bush) record lines waiting to vote.)

I live in rural SW Ohio. Don't know about Urban centers but I can compare to the past elections.

I went to my rural polling place right after they opened. I never met a line over 4-5 people in 25 years. It is set up such that dems have their line on the left. Repubs on the right. The dem side varied between 0-2 people. The repub side varied between 16-24. Never happened before.

Even the Lord is on our side. Its been raining.

Godspeed, The Dilg
