PENNSYLVANIA GOING TO BUSH!?!?!?!
11-02-04 | Josh in PA

Posted on 11/02/2004 5:35:26 AM PST by Josh in PA

I have been doing work for two candidates, One a guy running for PA State House, and another one in the US House (John Peterson)... From what I'm hearing higher up in the campaigns, the GOP voting turnout in this rural area of PA (that went 62-34 to Bush) is OFF THE FRICKIN CHARTS!!!

They actually think Pennsylvania is going to goto Bush.. I'll get more when I hear it!!!!!

Chill out Josh. Cross your fingers because I worked the polls during the Clinton years and we had lines longer than I could have imagine. The lines were so long we had to tag the last guy at 8pm and mark the place so we could allow everyone that was in line to vote. Southern Chester County has never seen so many Kerry signs. Cross your fingers about Bush holding on to ChesCo. WE have had an enormous amount of people moving into the county the last few years. We are also seeing Hispanic mushroom workers voting down here. That is a really strange thing because most of them are not citizens. They show an ID. Someone standing behind the guy in line said it was not a drivers license he showed but some other thing and they let him vote. I am hoping they check the citizenship of these people because we have a lot of workers from outside the USA

If Bush does well in Philly, he will carry the state.

Bush may improve his performance among Jews in suburban Phila, but the urban area trumps most anything.

Be still, my heart...

Oh, I hope this is true. I've been so nervous!

I'm overseas with nothng but several weeks of leftist spin from garbage like CNN International from which to draw conclusions. (And, yes...I voted absentee in early October.)

But other things are happening too. I live in the Philly suburbs and my m-i-l has been a 100% confirmed Kerry supporter. Somehow, it had escaped her that he was pro-abort. Another senior citizen, another catholic lady, explained to her what his views were several days ago and she was very upset. Then her son (my dem husband) called her last night and gave her what for for considering voting for this man. She is probably at least undecided today, and I think could vote for Bush. Yes! I've been praying that people's eyes would be opened for this election.

I just voted in Pittsburgh. Moveon.org is so organized its scary. They came by our neighborhood last week and had a huge list with every address and registered voter. They found out who supported Kerry and who supported Bush. I just got back from voting, and they had someone standing outside the polls. As you left, they asked if you would like to have your name removed from their list, so that you wouldn't be contacted. I presume sometime mid-afternoon, they will start contacting those who said that they supported Kerry, but did not vote yet. Of course, my name was not on their contact list. I don't see how we have a shot in Pennsylvania with this type of organization... :( I hope we make up for it in the rural areas!

Relax. We are at least as well organized in PA as the opposition. I know this because I saw it firsthand, participating in the GOTV efforts in rural PA. Have faith & thank you for your vote.

I just got back from voting in York, PA, at the North Sherman St Firehouse, and the GOPers were lined-up all around the parking lots, w/ Bush-Cheney buttons proudly displayed. Instead of the usual 15-20min wait, I waited 1hr 15mins just to get in the door, and another 20mins to get into the booth.

I took my digital camera along to catch any DNC goons, who might be there, but I didn't see any liberal thugs or demokkkRAT scumbags, hanging about.

JH, I'm calling it:

Bush 65%, Kerry 34% pv.
Bush 341, Kerry 197 ev.

EVERY PATRIOTIC AMERICAN HAS A DUTY TO VOTE!!!!

IN AFGHANISTAN'S FIRST ELECTION IN ITS 2500 YEAR HISTORY, WOMEN WERE THREATENED WITH DEATH IF THEY SHOWED UP AT THE POLLS. YET MANY ROSE AT 3AM TO WALK 20 MILES, TO STAND IN LINE FOR HOURS, JUST TO CAST A BALLOT. MILLIONS OF IMPOVERISHED AFGHANS VOTED.

HERE, VOTING IS INCOMPARABLY SAFER AND EASIER, AND NEVER MORE NECESSARY.

IT'S THE ABSOLUTE LEAST ANY "FREEPER" CITIZEN CAN DO.
IT IS NOT JUST YOUR RIGHT, ITS YOUR PATRIOTIC DUTY.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN OUR LIFETIMES.

VOTE!

On September 11, our nation faced the worst attack in our history.

On that day, we had to confront reality. Our people were brave in their response.

At the time, we believed we would be attacked many more times that day and in the days that followed. Spontaneously, I grabbed the arm of then Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik and said to Bernie, "Thank God George Bush is our President." I've been saying that every day since.

We needed George Bush then; we need him now; and we need him for four more years!

President Bush is making certain that we are combating terrorism at the source, beyond our shores, so we can reduce the risk of having to confront it in our streets at home.

John Kerry's record of inconsistent positions on combating terrorism gives us no confidence he'll pursue such a determined course.

Terrorism did not start on September 11, 2001. It had been festering for many years.

President Bush will not submit America to a "global test" from other countries that seek to dissuade us from what is necessary for our defense.

Under President Bush, America will lead rather than follow.

President Bush is the leader we need for the next four years because he sees beyond today and tomorrow. He has a vision of a peaceful Middle East and, therefore, a safer world.

And together we have a responsibility to do all we can to give President Bush has four more years to continue winning the War on Terror and making the world safer.

Talk to your family, your friends, your coworkers and your neighbors. Make sure they understand the dramatic contrast between the President Bush and Senator Kerry.

And make sure your fellow Americans understand the power of their vote on November 2nd--and proudly tell them that, like me, you'll be voting for George W. Bush for four more years!

Sincerely,
Rudy Giuliani

Just wondering, has anyone seen any Amish in line yet or are we just wishful thinking. Does anyone know if they are truley planning on getting out and voting. This could make a difference if it's close, but I've heard people talking but no one who has seen them in line?
