Ohio seems to be the same way from my observation.

The rural and suburban areas (assumably more Bush) record lines waiting to vote.

However, I cannot make a comparisson, as I have not witnessed if this is also true in the more democrat areas.

Everything is in play because of voter fraud. Dems in Philly and Pitt will stuffing ballot boxes all day. Don't start rejoicing yet.

Rural values will trend towards Bush - it's the urbanites who vote for narcissism. keep it in perspective.

Certainly the pollster's historically do not model the rurual vote as well as they do the urban vote, so you may well be right.

I think Republican precincts always turn out early.

They will be voting in the downtown precincts in Philly and Pittsburgh right up to closing time if not beyond.

60%+ for Republicans in the T is not supprising honestly. Republicans completely own this state except for 2 areas, Philly region and Pittsburgh Region. Unfortunately there are huge numbers of folks in those regions compared to the T.

What will make or break Bush in PA is how strong he performs in the Philly region. I think Bush will do very well in Pittsburgh... I see absolutely no indication he has remotely the support Gore had here 4 years ago.

If Bush does well in Philly, he will carry the state.

Outstanding!! You go Pennsylvania! Wouldn't it be sweet to take PA, OH, MI, and FL (can you say landslide?)!

RCP actually has PA closer than either OH or FL. I think we take all 3.
