Ohio seems to be the same way from my observation.

The rural and suburban areas (assumably more Bush) record lines waiting to vote.

However, I cannot make a comparisson, as I have not witnessed if this is also true in the more democrat areas.

Yes, FoxNews has also reported this a.m.: a vast disperity between the two halves of Pennsylvania.

East/Kerry; West/Bush.

I live in rural Michigan(the thumb). I went to vote exactly at 7 am. When i got there at 0650, the line was already 125 to 150 people long , and were patiently waiting in 45 degree temps and a slow, steady drizzle. When I got done voting 1/2 hour later the line was even longer, and showed no sign of getting smaller any time soon. This is gonna be one for the history books, folks.

Well, Republicans have to vote before work, so early morning lines don't say much.

Same in Michigan, WJR in Detroit is reporting long lines at polling places in the suburbs of Detroit, not the city itself. Of about 25 people calling into WJR, all but one was voting for Bush, there was a sole Kerry voter. A number were one issue voters who made the decision on the terrorism issue alone. I was so-so about Bush carrying Michigan, I'm now convinced, I beleive we are seeing a landslide occuring... I can't wait to watch returns tonight!

(The rural and suburban areas (assumably more Bush) record lines waiting to vote.)

I live in rural SW Ohio. Don't know about Urban centers but I can compare to the past elections.

I went to my rural polling place right after they opened. I never met a line over 4-5 people in 25 years. It is set up such that dems have their line on the left. Repubs on the right. The dem side varied between 0-2 people. The repub side varied between 16-24. Never happened before.

Even the Lord is on our side. Its been raining.
