We must be doing great because Chris looks beat! They are absolutely trying to sway this election!

Chrissy is so pathetic. What is this jerk going to do when he realizes that 1. his candidate is a loser 2. his rating are just above zero 3. that he's a loser???

I'm getting ready to go out to dinner! I can't believe I agreed to this, but it's a Bush party. At least I got them to have it at THEIR house.

How lin enjoy your friends and let this all roll of your back. We're doing just fine.

Those voters wanting change want to have terrorists attack us again HERE instead of fighting them THERE?

Those voters wanting change want Kerry to win because he changes his positions from one day to the next?

Those voters wanting change want Terayzah in the WH instead of Laura Bush?

Those voters wanting change want a president who outsources our troops to the corrupt UN instead of leading our troops in defending our nation?

Those voters wanting change want to have a president who has a 20 year record of voting AGAINST funding intelligence and troops instead of one who has been steadfast in his support of both?

Change for the sake of change is not a wise course......especially in time of war, and we are at war w/those who want to kill us all. President Bush wants to CHANGE that fact to a victory over our enemies. That's the only change we as Americans should want.

I saw that! Laura Ingraham has about 100 IQ point advantage on Estrich. That was an ugly session without a doubt, but Laura got in the last word. Estrich was reading notes throughout. She makes my teeth hurt. Oh and one more face lift and she'll have a goatee.

Not really.
They threw everything at him, and they couldn't drive down his approval.
His dad's approval was 35% when he ran in 1991.
You overestimate their reach.

In 2000, Brit looked bummed, so I'll take the fact that he doesn't look bummed as a positive, LOL.

"A personal note of disappointment:

Why can't the American People at least make up their freaking minds?"

Here's why: follow the money trail or the power trail. They either claim to be undecided in order to pressure those who are running to promise them more of whatever it is they want (usually financial handouts in one form or another). Or, it makes them feel powerful, as if they are in the catbird seat and the politicians are running around trying to please them to get them to decide. Either way, these who are undecided in the last week and who are swayed by stories that are obvious propaganda (such Bush's DUI from the 70's in the last weeks of the 2000 election) are harmful to the democratic process. I'd rather they not vote at all.

Indiana Polls just closed about 20 minutes ago also. Voter turnout in Indiana was hugh some waiting up to 3 hours to vote.

I'm in Southern Indiana. Our polls are still open. (We are in central time zone)

Right now Michael Barone is on Fox giving a convoluted explanation of how they will call an election for a state. It has to do with statistical analysis that there is a 1 in 300 chance they are wrong. This is a tighter standard, he says. Last time it was 1 in 250. (Big whoop, I say. Why can't they just give us the totals and wait until the votes are counted?)

If there are long lines, voting continues until the line is gone. I don't know how they cap the line at the closing time.

Very true. I don't know how they do it in other states, but in Wisconsin, an election official heads to the end of the line at 8 pm (CST; the closing time here).
