It's going to be a close election, but if W loses, its over the loss of jobs. I've been holding it for months now, but the party is going to have a major shake up over the issue of jobs, NAFTA, outsourcing .... (OK - back in my hole)

In total agreement with you there, and this from a ground slogger on the ground at ground zero in OH. Kerry has totally clobbered Bush with ads in the closing week hammering on this very issue. Bush and the Republicans have not countered it effectively, and in some ways have thrown gasoline on the fire by sending brainless jerk dolts like John Snow out here to talk to CEOs about how job losses here were a "myth". Well, tell that to the blue collar worker standing in the unemployment line, or the white collar worker sending out resumes and doing occasional temp work at 30% of his old salary because his job got outsourced to Sanjay Bobaganoosh in Bangalore.

This election is a replay of 2000. Pray for FL and OH. Its going to come down to a few thousand or maybe a few hundred votes in OH, decided sometime tomorrow. So much for all the FReeper predictions of a 300+ EV Bush blowout. Blowout, all right, blow it out your ...

Uhmmm, I can help a little:

If results are coming from Cleveland only, then it's mainly Cuyahoga county - expected Kerry stronghold.

Other expected Kerry strongholds would be Franklin county (Columbus - state capitol) and Greene county (Yellow Springs hippie refuge).

Other cities expected to lean towards Kerry would be Toledo (Lucas county) and Youngstown (Trumbull county).

Pretty much the rest of the state is rural and expected to swing Bush - pretty strong Republican voting and LOTS of Amish.

Cincinnati is Hamilton county, but it has a track record for running Republican. Keeping fingers crossed and sending out prayers.
