Bill Crystal says that the exit polls are not reliable this election cycle. BIG SURPRISE! It's the first time this new system has been used.

It's obvious by watching the coverage that the networks are not relying on Exit Polls at all. The are being force to wait on actual ballot counts from the state. Heck, you can get those counts off of the internet on a real-time basis.
Almost makes me yearn for the good old days of the Voter News Serveice.

I LOVED "Analyze This". The sequel sucked though.

Duh.
Republicans/conservatives are more reserved and less likely to talk to anyone. Except if they are FReepers.
Bump. :)

If McDonald's won't hire you I guess the exit pollsters will.

So, the mood on Fox News is getting better? I haven't turned it on once. If they are trashing the exist polls, that's a good sign for the good guys!

Yeah Brit was just talking to Susan Estrich about it. She does not look very thrilled right now...in fact a little frustrated. This could be a good sign.

City Slickers was a real change in direction for his career. It gave him so much depth. Now this, he is critiquing exit polls.
To: EarlyBird
Specifically he said the actual county results in VA did better for W than what the exit polls indicated.

I suppose no one is interested but today was a 7$ down day or thereabouts for gold. Then the exit polls came out and gold quickly climbed to $1.70. Now, with the news being that President Bush and his brethern are doing better than the exit polls suggested, gold has lost that $1.70 increase and is now flat. The stock market plunged with the exit polls as well: if Drudge wanted to retire early he should have shorted the market before posting the exit polls.

I really REALLY hate Susan Estrich.
