MSNBC just reported that with 97% in, Bush leads by 11,000 votes in Iowa. 2 counties with 15,000 votes are still to be counted. Both had stopped when their count machines broke down. Both machines fixed, but 1 county will not restart their count until the morning. Also reported that absentee ballots postmarked by midnight would still need to be counted(wonder how many DNC operatives are being let in the back door of post offices tonight?)
we're still waiting for results, they said 300 ballots to count at 3:30a CST.
We will win this state.
The vicotry in Iowa will be SWEET!
What about New Mexico???
Plymouth is in northwest Iowa. It is a VERY conservative county. Lee is the southeastern most county in Iowa. It tends to trend Dem.
Excellent job.
Now can ya'll give Fox News Channel and NBC hell for refusing to call NV when CNN, ABC, and CBS did nearly 3 hours ago?
It was so tense throughout this state today. We fought like tigers to win this state for George W. Bush. And we did it. I am so pumped up.
WE DID IT!
The Iowa GOP learned alot after losing in 2000. We concentrated on fundamentals and an awesome grassroots organization. I mean we kicked @$$ all over Iowa. In fact we almost carried Polk Co. (Des Moines).
One of whom just happens to be Representative Jim Leach ("R"-IA 2) who, after the mess in Election 2000, called for abolishing the Electoral College.
Considering where he's from and how intelligent he's supposed to be, that was far and away the stoopidest thing ever to have escaped from his brain.
YIPES !!
why won't nevada call it for bush? all counts in and he leads by 21,567 votes.
Did they fix the machines or "fix" the machines?
