But what kind of statement will it be? I really doubt that they are going to go down quietly. It's just not their style.

The longer they stretch it out, the more people are reminded that the Dems are putting us through this. People understood when it was 500 votes in FL. They won't understand when it is 130k votes in OH.

Is the charming Mrs. Breck Girl getting the riots started?

Mrs. Breck is teaming up with Michael Moore and Linda Ronstadt on a "Sit On The Republicans Till They Croak" tour...

The Dems should be doing damage control now, if they wish to still have a shot at 2008. Methinks Hillary and Bubba would be on the phone with the Kerry campaign by now.

Has anyone staked out the French Embassy? Is Kerry trying to get asylum?

I think Vietnam is where he should go. They worship him over there.

Anyone else picking up on what I think will be the MSM/Dem spin on this Bush victory? It sounds to me like they are really trying to play up how Bush used issues like homosexual "marriage", and abortion to get out the "white, Evangelical Christian" vote, and that this "was a very divisive strategy."

Anyone else think this is the route the Dem/MSM goons will use?

I bet they tuck their tales and hide for a while. It's hard to spin this one other than the usual "Clearly, the American people weren't completely for Bush as you can tell from the lack of a landslide".

Whatever happened to "but he won the popular vote"?

This whole affair, if it is carried to the extreme they might take it to, will only serve to showcase the ethical barrenness of the Democratic party.

What did Gore win the popular vote by, like 40k votes? Bush won by 4 million!

Russert also said that Kerry would be within his rights to contest the election. Wonder if he would be saying this if the shoe were on the other foot.

President Bush has won this election, 286 EV to 252 EV. He has taken 51.22% of the national popular vote.

The only close state of the bunch is WI and Bush would concede that, even though Kerry has a very small lead, because Bush has taken NV, NM, and IA (why havent the news channels called these states?).

Anyone who can't accept that is just fooling themselves.

He pointed to the popular vote among some other things and said that the Dems will only hurt themselves if they try to push this.

I heard this exact same phrase used during the 2000 Sore Loserman debacle. When will the country learn that the dims don't care if they hurt the country. They hate this country, and for every minute that skerry fails to concede the more they prove that.

Bush is doing what Bush does best. He knows he has a lock on the election and, with a 140K + margin, a lock on public opinion.

He sees the dim's with a nice length of rope in their hands and he's going to let them hang themselves before he kicks their body off a cliff.

If Bush declares victory before the Dems concede, they will look awful. Pouty, little children. They have to be sweating this.
