10. It's much more fun watching Terry McAuliffe go down in flames than whoever the DNC chairman was in 1984.
9. In 1984, John Kerry and Tom Harkin were elected to the U.S. Senate.
8. In 1984, Republicans lost Senate seats overall (-2).
7. In 1984, Republicans won a few House seats but still were well in the minority.
6. In 1984 Dems won most of the Governor's mansions and state houses.
5. Walter Mondale was too easy a target.
4. The satisfaction of knowing GWB got a majority of the popular vote, which Clinton never did.
3. Did I forget to mention we swept both houses of Congress...AGAIN?
2. Democrats not just defeated, but made IRRELEVANT in vast portions of the nation.
1. We didn't have FREE REPUBLIC in 1984!
12. Watching 30 million of George Soros' fortune swirl down the drain in Fla & OH
12. UN is completely discredited.
13. France is completely discredited.
14. Gay marriage goes down big.
11. The MSM, George Soros, Hollywood wacko's and Michael Moore all lost.
13) There is a Republican sitting in (former Senator) John Edwards' chair.
At least now I can comfortably GLOAT in my beautiful, coastal, REPUBLICAN, small, community with like-minded brethren! Even if we do have to live in socialist CA
So was I. In 1984 my entire 2nd grade class voted for Reagan in the mock election we had.
Not only has W won the largest popular vote in history, but so far he has gotten almost 8.1 million more votes than he did last year. Kerry got 4.0 million more votes than Gore, but Nader lost 2.5 million votes from his 2000 totals. Subtract out Nader swing votes from Kerry's total assuming all 2.5 million votes swung to Kerry, and Kerry only added 1.5 million votes from Gore's showing in 2000.
Depending on absentee votes yet to be counted, and W's popurlar vote may go over 60 million.
I was only 10 in 84, so I didn't get to vote!
BETTER THAN MOORE LOSING....Soros lost his money!
Right, Fatso made millions off his hate. Soros lost over 23 million.
This is HUGE.
