More hollow promises from NavyChief? I'm on pins and needles.

Why doesn't he come back here himself, after botching things on the Kerry Discharge story last weekend?

I disagree. I say he needs to be thrown out of office. We do not need anti-war sympathizers in our Congress when we have much fighting and troops to commit. We need to be united and his his is not one of uniting behind this war.

Correction: We need to be united and his history is not one of uniting behind this war.

As a PA country boy, when you get them down, put the boots to them. If not, they'll come back to bite you.

As part of the overall effort, please circulate this letter to Kerry as widely as you can ... to individuals, newspapers, magazines and your own elected officials. Best regards!

The reaction of some (leave Kerry alone, it's over, he was gracious in defeat) sounds so much like the liberal tendency to forgive criminals because they "showed remorse". It makes no sense to me to reprieve a criminal of his just sentence because he's 'sorry' and it makes no sense to me to abandon the search for truth when these revelations could prevent this evil man from continuing his falsely-won government career unmolested. He is NOT harmless, though his ambitions have been delayed. Like Zell Miller's snake story...let the copperhead slither away and he is not harmless simply because you can't see him anymore. Let the copperhead live in your backyard and sooner or later he will emerge again, perhaps attached to the hand of an unlucky grandbaby.

In my opinion, the fact that Kerry put on a "good show" of "graciousness" today in no way mitigates Kerry's many "crimes" before and during this election.

Truth is truth and the wicked will be exposed. A liar has reason to fear discovery.

I believe this is something that those affected by it should decide. If you were there fine, if not butt out. These men bore the brunt of these liberal a**wipes, if they want to carry on I say go for it. Their service to the USA entitles them.

No.

You don't stomp on a beaten opponent. Kerry surprised me with his graciousness in defeat today. If he runs for Senate again, by all means bring this up; but let it alone for now. We should be magnanimous. Since we'll be doing pretty much what we want for the next four years, we might as well be polite about it.

If he were to be tossed from the Senate, an R would be named to replace him.

Gettin' closer to 60.

We don't want to appear to be meanspirited or piling on, but if we can show the truth that was hidden by Kerry and the media, it needs to be shown. We will be able to challenge the media and demand to know why they didn't do their jobs. I say keep going on this stuff.

The horse is NOT dead!

Their hands are covered in blood.

Between 10.000 and 20,000 of our men in uniform
died when in front of congress Kerry lied.

An unknown number of our POWS where tortured and
murdered when in front of congress Kerry lied.

Over one million Vietnamese and over ten million
Cambodians died when in front of congress Kerry lied.

Kerry's hands and the hands of those in congress
and the media who bought into Kerry's
lies are covered in blood.

Now look at your hands. If you are supporting (supported)
John Kerry in his bid for the office of President
of the United States your hands are also covered in
blood.

Roger Yaste ATC Ret USN

The horse is not dead until kerry is at least ostracized by all Americans. I prefer him in prison or executed for his crimes.

Freepers. I have seen many noble sentiments expressed on this thread to the tune of; "Don't kick a man when he is down."

While I applaud your wonderful Christian sentiments, I believe it is totally misplaced. Senator John F. Kerry is not a "man down". He is a "snake in the grass". We kill snakes. And for good reason. It is in the nature of snakes to kill us.

Senator Kerry is a traitor. He was a lying coward in Viet Nam. And immediately after his abbreviated tour in Viet Nam he engaged in treason to horrible effect on our troops and country.

Senator Kerry has continued his treasonous activity throughout his Senate career. And he is still in a position of extreme power in the Senate. His opportunities for more treason are limitless.

Now Senator Kerry hates America. He has always hated America. And now that America has rejected his bid for ultimate power, his hate will eat at him like a cancer. Do you really believe he won't use his office to do even more damage?!

Freepers. Senator Kerry is one of the Constitution's "enemies,...domestic". The SwiftVets are working to expose him. Support them. Because they are doing the work of America. If we stay quiet on this, we are no better than the so-called main stream media. They also have ignored this "snake in the grass".

I believe this is something that those affected by it should decide

I believe that the future of our country and our citizens is more important than redressing a very definite wrong that occurred 35 years ago.

Their service to the USA entitles them.

Their service to the USA entitles them to our grateful thanks and undying appreciation for their sacrifice. I understand this. My nephew was injured in Iraq. I get it. But, there is a larger picture to look at and I'm suggesting that we let kerry sink into the oblivion of his own personal hell and get ready for the next battle.

I do not know if you are a vet or not. I am not, so forgive me if I am talking out of turn.

He gave the vets one last "F You" when he talked about his Band of Brothers traveling across the country, speaking the truth. i.e. He once again called the Swifities and other Vets liars. I bet when the blame game starts in the heinz household, the Swifites receive a large portion of it.

I believe the Swifities when they say this issue is larger than the election. IMHO, by attacking their credibility and character, Kerry did the same thing now that he did back then.

Kerry needs to be held accountable.

But it is the call of the Swifities. I can only support them in their quest, whatever they decide.

No I don't trust him at all. I just don't want to hurt our cause more than his. Besides if we slam him and the MSM turns him into a sympathetic figure and he does get close enough to contest Ohio (unlikely) it could change the dynamic.

If he starts contesting now he will look like $#!T. Remember, no matter what anyone here thinks, the president has not been elected yet.

Now look at your hands.

My hands are clean. I voted for the Prez. I watched his acceptance speech and noted the calm dignity and purposeful resolve with which faced the difficulties that confront us. I'm simply saying that we have enough on our plates without this distraction of trying to bring kerry to justice. It isn't going to happen.

"Best keep it handy because the Dems already promised that if Bush wins their next effort was going to be to try to impeach him on something they fabricate."

Yep: when they couldn't beat Nixon in '72, that was their contingency plan; and Kennedy, Clinton, and Kerry have been following their Vietnam-era playbook to the letter.
