Trench Warfare (or how Kerry like drop the F-bomb on his butler)
Newsweek ^ | 11/5/2004 | Newsweek staff

The morning after the Feb. 3 primaries, which vaulted Kerry into a virtual-ly insurmountable lead, the candidate was fuming over his missing hairbrush. He and his aides were riding in a van on the way to a Time magazine cover-photo shoot. Nicholson had left the hairbrush behind. "Sir, I don't have it," he said, after rummaging in the bags. "Marvin, f---!" Kerry said. The press secretary, David Wade, offered his brush. "I'm not using Wade's brush," the long-faced senator pouted. "Marvin, f---, it's my Time photo shoot."

Heard Howie Carr mention this story on drive home. Is hilarious reading. Marvin Nicholson is Liveshot's butler. "Lovey, where's my f--- hair brush?!"

Give him a break. It's stressful being a well-coiffed candidate.

He could be generous to his staff, who stayed loyal to him. But "he will whine constantly," said one top aide, quoting Kerry's bouts of petulance: " 'I'm not getting enough exercise, I'm overscheduled, I didn't get the speech on time'—on and on, ad nauseam."

LOL! And these are his friends.

You know...really...the whole point of having an assisstant is to have him deal with this sort of thing. If he doesn't, well, maybe he should get yelled at.

I'm reminded of the video of a younger George Bush. The one where he flipped the bird to the camera. I loved when W spent about 2 full seconds fixing his hair!! That about sums up the candidates.

I heard on talk radio this evening that Kerry exploded the F-bomb every chance he got. This from a woman who left his staff because she couldn't stand how rude and obnoxious he was to them all, on his plane, in his office, everywhere.

This would explain his daughters' F-bomb explosion backstage in Faneuil Hall after Kerry's concession.

The real issue is: This guy has a butler???!!! Who in the 21st century actually has a butler? That's insane!

I'd give anything to know how the butler actually voted.

The poor guy gets treated like.... well, like a servant.

Betcha a buck he voted for President Bush.

How can Kerry possibly lay claim to any kind of "connection" with any American outside of Upper Manhattan? I doubt there're too many union stiffs and minority folks out there who have a butler to greet their visitors and tote their toiletries.

More on Marvin, aka Jeeves from when he was named ABC News Person of the Week in October:

Marvin Nicholson has been indispensable to Sen. John Kerry, serving as the candidate's personal aide, or "body man" as the campaign calls him, since he decided to run for president in 2002.

"My business card reads: 'Marvin Nicholson, Chief of Stuff,' " he said. "I make sure he's got everything from his briefing books to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches."

Here's poor Marvin, being abused by Liveshot:

If the MSM had not been in actuality the Media Wing of the DNC, they would have exposed Kerry, his daughter Alexandra and Teresa as being "high maintenance", and that alone would have decreased Kerrry's percentage by 15 points.

This whole Newsweek "revelation" series really irks me.

They were aware of this guy (and his wife's) character flaws, they had to know he would make an awful President.

Yet, they reported on NONE of it before the election. In fact, I can't remember a negative word about Kerry being reported by any of the press at any time during the campaign.

If he had been elected, they would have been complicit in placing in office a man who obviously did not have the personal characteristics to deal with a nation at war.

I love how the media has wasted no time in trashing Kerry....this is all the proof we need that they held onto every bit of dirt on him that they could.
