I do although it was a toss up between Sirius and XM, I went with XM because of Medved but it was a tough decision. I drive a lot in the north woods of Wisconsin and just can't pick up any radio except NPR w/o my XM.

I think you have that part wrong. Everyone knows Specter opposed Bork for SCOTUS. Hannity asked Specter, in essence, how he could have supported Bork for the DC Circuit if he was as bad as Specter said he was. Specter then said he thought there was no record of the DC Circuit vote, and mumbled something about there being a world of difference between the two courts.
Hannity made an excellent point with his question. My problem with his show yesterday is he let Specter walk with the idea of the anti-Specter movement being confined to merely Toomey supporters. That's just not even close to being true.

Does anybody here have a link to a transcript of Laura's or Sean's Bork interviews? I missed him on both shows and would dearly love to read or hear it word for word. Purty please?

I love Hannity's fire in the belly, but Laura is much more sharp.

She's got to be the most beautiful conservative woman in the public eye that i've ever seen.
i LOVE her :o)
She's my hero. mmmmmmmm.
Great fighter for conservatism.

You're probably correct. I was driving while listening and I wasn't concentrating on the exact words.
I heard that specter voted against bork - there was a bit more talk then I heard specter's voice sounding shocked stating that it was a voice vote with no record.
If I remember correctly, one of the main points in the "conservative mandates" that gave the Republicans the majority finally, was the cessation of "voice votes" where a "representative" (probably an illegally implanted lawyer scumbag) could vote against everything his constituents stood for and then later, if confronted, LIE about how he really voted.
It only took one term for the scumbag lawyers, masquerading as legislators, to ignore that part of the "mandate" and start their lies again.

Thanks, went to the XM site and they don't mention Hannity.
Is he new to that channel?

just said Specter can't be trusted
I'm glad Judge Bork is taking the time to visit these talk programs. Everyone here knows that Specter cannot be trusted, etc. Yet, with Judge Bork's comments, we now have that confirmed to the +1000% level.

I know that he was rejected by the full Senate on Oct. 23, 1987.
Though, that was only after he had been reported out-adversely-of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Your larger point is correct though, in so much as Specter and Warner-along with other "moderate" Republicans-were the chief instrument behind Judge Bork's downfall.
Leaving aside the duplicity of senators like Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy, and stupidity of Howell Heflin, I think that these Republican defections were probably the main impetus behind the U.S. Senate's rejection of Robert Bork.

Thanks for your help. I'm sure either one will work for me. Guess I'll let my pocketbook decide which one.

Head to head, I'd listen to Laura EVERY time!
She is bright, funny, and FUN to listen to.
I find Hannity passionate, but dull and repetitive.
Rush is still the KING, though!
