God bless you and good luck with the procedure. Thank the Lord for the improvements in modern medicine that have made cochlear implants a reality!!!!!! Keep us posted on how it goes, OK?
Can you/anyone let Rush know ???.. there might be "unknown" support from him... as he experienced a similar situation. Rush is fond of FReepers.

My Mom has similar situation, so prayers all around.
I'm praying for good results regards your health,hearing and healing.
Prayers for your hearing, bud. Thankfully, this won't affect your fingers and you can still type, no matter what the outcome! But, truly, I hope things go well, that the doctors say yes to implants and that they will work great. Keep us posted.
