36 Americans were captured in an Industrial neighborhood yesterday on board three tanks and three armoured jeeps, when the Mujahudeen encircled them, isolating them from the rest of their column.
Leaders of the Mujahdeen Column of Fallujah have announced as a part of their information struggle against US troops, 'resistance' fighters had filmed occupation prisoners being held inside Fallujah.
The prisoners who were filmed numbered 36 and included some women US soliders. All were captured in Fallujah's industrial zone Monday morning.
Abu Asad, president of the Council of Mujahideen of Fallujah announced to Mafkarat al-Islam's correspondant that after filming the American prisoners, they gave the film to Al Jazeera and Al Arabiyah satellite TV stations.
The two stations refused to air the tape for 'security reasons.'
In fact they were afraid of American reprisals against their stations if they were to broadcast the videotapes, as previously happened to Al Jazzera after they showed film of US prisoners at the start of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Regardless of their reasons, this is a deviation for both networks. It is expected that visuals will be posted to the web in coming days.

Circling a tank sounds like a way to meet Allah at a very high speed, IMHO.
Delusional would be the appropriate term, IMO.
I don't believe a word of it.
Speaking of Jenny Lynch, how much of her story was 'bull?' I recall hearing that the reports of her fighting were greatly embellished.
What was the final word on her adventure?
Fox has an embedded reported in Fallujah. Don't you think they'd know and broadcast it, if it were true? So far, it sounds like they've been doing fairly well (knock wood and more prayers).
Bingo!
Well worth the double post!
I don't think 36 campfire girls would surrender in a M1 Abrams tank, much less US MARINES! This is such a joke that I can't believe that drudge took it serioulsy enough to report it.
Pure Barbra Streisand...
Actually, it was reported last week that Al Jazzera refused to air both post election OBL tapes..
exactly what I was thinking - wouldn't the rest of the column go to the rescue? unless they had some immediate and essential objective. But 36 well-armed combat-expecting Marines are a formidable force - they'd take a bunch of jihadis to their eternal destination.
Much of the Lynch story was the result of rumors the media took and ran with. MSNBC actually admitted that the stories were overblown rumors.
The source is highly suspect.
the dems oct supprise?
Absolutely. To surrender is to die. Arabs like to put out BS for the ignorant followers. If they believe it, the T's consider it a victory. I don't believe it, So THEY LOSE.
As the Fallujah show down continues, reports coming in the late hours and early this morning clearly indicate that yesterdays opening offensive by US and Iraqi forces, dubbed Allawis Army, was no cakewalk. Thirty six American soldiers were captured, American supply lines attacked, over a hundred guardsmen surrender to Mujahideen, several American aircrafts downed and Mujahideen pushed US forces back in two main entry positions.

Okay, anyone really believe this
Just typical bad comedy from those guys.
The small Marine Shanghai garrison surrendered without a shot at the very beginning of WW II but they were surrounded by a million japanese.
just kidding
