Please don't leave. The U.S. can't afford to lose progressive, educated, free thinkers such as yourself.
And besides, you sure got a purdee mouth!

You may be on to something. Vermont should have a recount!

Hey Leora, want to feel out of place and hated? - wear your father's Marine Corps F4, Vietnam flight jacket in downtown Seattle on Veterans Day and discover how wonderful and loving your liberal brethren are!

Some Say U.S. No Longer Feels Like Home This sentiment should be encouraged and reinforced whenever possible.
Leave no doubt to those who feel / express this that America would be better off without them.
Do everything possible to make them want to leave.

Hmmm. At least w/ secession, you'd have tangible
measures to demonstrate progress...like liberal body
counts. I think I'd like to be the one parking
an M-1 on the heads of university libs. But,
that's just me.

I feel the exact opposite. I think by defeating John Kerry, I've saved my "home" from the cultural and political bulldozers. Chances are these folks who no longer feel at home are self-described progressives. Generally when people in today's society say they are progressives, they are actually regressives.

Move down here to the beautiful state of Alabama. Birmingham has the largest and oldest Veterans Day parade in the country.

Remember, however, be sure to check ALL assets
at the door. Uncle Kim appreciates your

One part of me thinks JUST like you! But the other part loathes the thought of them being just across a border. As long as they are close, there is more risk involved. I think the farther away they are, the better. Not only this, but seccession means we lose ground, and I'm not in the mood to lose anything! :-)

One of the worse things to ever happen to VT was the building of RT 87, 787 and the improvement of RT 7 in NY.
Sometimes there are more NY plates in Bennington VT than VT plates. Samething has happened to Southern NH and ME with people from MA.

He said America's schools fail children by not teaching subjects like philosophy and civicsAnd all this time I thought that we needed to be teaching our kids reading and writing, math and science. I can't tell you the number of meeting that I've been in where someone has stated "If ONLY we had ONE MORE philsophy major, we could get this project completed! Whereever will we find one to hire?" /sarcasm

They only like to live with people who share their values? Gee, closed-minded, these "liberals" are.Liberals believe in diversity of skin pigmentation, not diversity of ideas.
