(Reuters) Video appears to show killing of Iraq aid worker Margaret Hassan, husband says.
We need to start preparing to go to the top, no holds barred, to protect this Young Marine.
We must not let the liberals crucify this young man, who was only doing his duty. If we let them label this Marine as a murderer, he will live the rest of his life in doubt that he needlessly killed this Iraqi instead of taking out a possible threat. Had this not been a Mosque, a holy place, these same Marines would have had a few 90mm tank rounds sent in to eliminate a possible threat, therefore killing them all anyway....go figure.
I'm ignorant of Mrs. Hassan's politics, but she seems to have been a useful idiot. Very sad on all counts.
Here is a woman that spent 30 years feeding and caring for the
people of Iraq. She was tortured and murdered, her captors reveled in her torment.
It should be clear to us that no matter what we do, help them, harm them, or ignore them, they will brutalize and butcher us any way they can.

She looked Western. Since, in reality, the Ba'ath Party, the covert anti Western forces in Iraq (I will *no longer* call them insurgents, that's too dignifying), the mullahs in Iran and other Islamist forces are, essentially, part of a Pan Arabic, Pan Islamist movement, anyone who does not overtly "fit in" with their rabble is fair game. World War is inescapable.
Why will the media show us a marine killing an insurgent (terrorist)?
Why WON'T the media show us a terrorist killing a life long humanitarian?
We get weeks and weeks of Abu Grabi(sp?) and I'm sure we'll get weeks and weeks about the video of this marine...
...but no outrage about what terrorists did to Mrs. Hassan?

This is part of our problem. There are many people these days who do not fully understand just how many of those who were doing the human shield thing before the war are now "aid workers." Indeed nothing excuses this terror, however, certainly, Western Leftists who go messing around in Iraq are taking chances.
The cicumstances are irrelevent. He shot an unarmed man who was lying on the floor. He should be prosecuted like the criminal that he is. These marines are f---ing animals.

I know that not all of them are like this, but when his fellow marines refuse to see the crime, and retired generals get on TV and try to justify murder, then how can one not question all of them.

They seem to think the woman's torso found in the street was Mrs. Hassan. Terrorist murderers probably think this will frighten Iraqis/Arabs so they won't dare cooperate with those attempting to rebuild or help Iraq. It's monstrous, and doubly so since Mrs. Hassan put herself in harm's way in order to save lives. Well, she's already safe in God's arms.
If you and others acted upon this statement, you'd be just as bad as the terrorists. You might want to consider your words more carefully--this is the kind of nutjob statement that makes Free Republic looks bad. Just as Christianity has recovered from bouts of violence advocacy, Islam may be able to do the same. Extermination is not a reasonable option.
American women that voted for GW Bush got it! American women who voted for John Kerry are lost! Had John Kerry been elected it would have been a great victory for the Muslim terrorists. And, with that victory would start an open season on the murder of Americans here and abroad. All you women Kerry voters did not use your head, so if your boy had been elected you would soon lose your heads, you know like in beheading. Madams, the handwriting is on the wall, vote Democrat and you vote for your own death. But, it will be worse than death for women. First comes abuse, rape, torture and then comes death usually by gunshot or beheading. How any American woman could even think about voting for that traitor John Kerry or the Democrat party is beyond reasonable thought.

Terrorists are never to be negotiated with. Never. The only value she might still have had after her capture would have been if she had been carrying a beacon to guide a Smart Bomb in to target.
