NO!!! This is the image we want to project to terrorists... if you are hiding in a Mosque and shooting at us; you will die!

What angers me is not the fact that it was done, but rather the fact that it is on TV.

it all depends how we handle this at home. If we go stupid and prosecute the Marine we will be giving the wrong message to your enemies. If we don't, we'll send them a message that their days are numbered.

Consider the source:
"Scott Peterson contributed to this report from Fallujah, Iraq."

Great! If you fight Americans, you die!
And I don't give a damn how angry you are!

The Marine's only mistake was not shooting the cameraman first. I've HAD IT!

The reporter better get transfered or grow eyes behind his head.Maybe next time they should have the reporter see if the poor terrorist is in pain or needs help let him turn the scum over to discover a plastic explosive or hand grenade with the pin out.

The full context isn't being shown. What was this poor, abused, murdered (sarcasm) SOB doing 5 minutes before he got his virgins? I'm sure he wasn't preparing dinner for the Marines. Unless of course a new model AK-47 converts into a field kitchen.

Set back of US image in Cairo? I'd say, in Cairo, we now have more respect. Why do we think the Arab world views the world through our glasses? The Arab world says diddly-crap about beheading innocent civilians but they want to condenm us for anything they imagine we will react to? 'Continue the march....'

Thank Kevin Sitesfor this. He has the blood of US soldiers on your hands now! Hope he is proud of himself.

I'm sick of hearing about this poor, wounded, Iraqi "freedom fighter"...as far as I'm concerned he was done a favour, a quick end to the suffering of having to fight against the Marines.
We should be talking about the torture chambers these "people" seem so intent on setting up wherever they go.

If John Kerry really supported the soldiers, he would go on TV and say "I understand war. I was in Vietnam. I've been in combat. I understand it better than anyone. And I shot and killed a wounded enemy soldier. Sometimes you have to. I got a medal for it. Whether this American soldier should get a medal, I can't say. But he should not be railroaded for what he did. I'm John Kerry, and I approved this message."
'Course, Kerry isn't about to say any of that. Because he hates the US military.
