Reminded me of the people in my area that still take Harold Camping seriously.
(Harold Camping tried to predict Christ's return, said it was supposed to be in 1989 I think.. Well.. he was wrong.)
He recently was advertising as going to have a seminar where he was going to 'prove' that we're in the middle of the tribulation.
Which he would have to square with his earlier predictions and statements.
Oh, that type of theology was not based on racism, but on unbelief, the British Israelism thing...
Calvinistic Theology sometimes leads to that stuff, they say that the references to Israel in the New Testament arent actually Israel...
It is more Covenant Theology that leads to that, it is based on that in some ways.
But the origin of it is not based on racism, just lack of believing what it actually says.
But I can see how it LEADS to racism, though! :)
