Don't expect to hear any condemnation from the MSM or the european media. But don't be shocked if they find some way to place the blame on the US for not having troops there. Of course, had there been US troops, all of the blame would be place on them anyway.

Pretty disturbing... is it possible to confirm these are French soldiers? The video was worthless during the actual shooting.

I'm always suspicious of the videos claiming civilians were shot for NO reason. The video starts off with a pretty calm gathering of protestors, then there's an edit, then the shooting begins. Who shot first, the French or someone in the crowd? There's no way to tell.
Without context, the video is useless except for ogrish.com fans.
Does anyone here know what's really going on there? I heard a brief mention on an Australian news report that the french were taking sides with muslim forces against the indigenous population. Anyone?
