LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Director Michael Moore, whose anti-Iraq (news - web sites) war film "Fahrenheit 9/11" sparked a firestorm of controversy before becoming a post-election footnote, topped an annual list on Monday of Hollywood's "coldest" celebrities.
The outspoken documentarian, who seemed to be everywhere during the 2004 U.S. presidential campaign, urging defeat of President Bush (news - web sites), ranks No. 1 on this year's "Frigid 50" roster of lackluster stars published by online movie magazine FilmThreat.com.
The Web site, known for an anti-establishment take on the entertainment industry, said its list names the stars it found to be the "the polar opposite of the hottest celebrities: these are the least powerful, least-inspiring, least-intriguing people in Hollywood."
Ranked No. 2 was actress Halle Berry (news), who followed up her Oscar-winning turn in "Monster's Ball" with less critically lauded roles in such films as "Gothica" and "Catwoman."

And the worthless Democrats wonder what the American people mean by "moral values"!
Ha! Funny. I looked at that picture and for some reason thought and remembered the same thing. It looks like a picture from the Guinness record book that I had as a kid.
michael moore helped to re-elect bush. by being a scruffy incarnation of the corn-cobbing left, moore represented satan's political wing and got the christian right to go to the polls in droves. thank you michael moore.
Michael Moore did not help to re elect Bush, but what Michael Moore did, is hurt John Kerry's chances of winning.
Of course John Kerry did not have much of a chance of winning anyway.
Ben Afflek? Isn't he the guy who does those duck commercials on TV? I think he's HILARIOUS!
Yes..that is him, if he walks like a duck and talks like a duck then it must be Ben Afflek.
I see that he dropped a few pounds...
"And now Michaels alleged limousine liberal ways are being exposed in a new documentary entitled Michael Moore Hates America. "
I saw this movie at a film festival in Dallas. Go see it if you get a chance. It does have quite a bit of profanity, but if that doesn't bother you it is something I think freepers would like. Most of the profanity is spoken by Penn, or Teller, whichever one of them that talks. I met the filmaker, Michael Wilson, at the festival and he is a nice young man with a family to support. Go see his movie.
I think that would be obvious.
That is a great site!! The whole list is hysterical, along with the bad movies of 2004. PS I think the W comment is more about him being in any "movies".
The irony of them sitting together is that jimmy carter ONLY got the Peace Prize because the Nobel Prize committed wanted to throw it in the face of supporters of George Bush (well documented).
Mikhail Moor-onski may well get an Oscar for Best Picture for exactly the same reason.
Now if only Cat Stevens (excuse me, I mean Yusuf Islam) could have been with them (in case you missed it, he got a "Man of Peace" award from Gorbachev in france just a few weeks after he was denied entry into the U.S.
One of the funniest jokes is Gunnar Berge, who, you will remember, said that the "Nobel Peace Prize"--it's hard to say that without laughing--was given to Jimmy Carter as a "kick in the leg" to George Bush. Since then, Berge's been kicked in the leg so many times it hasn't gotten out of a cast yet! The most recent kick was Nov. 2, when the American people sent him back into traction.
Poor Gunnar would be pitiable if he weren't such a hoot!
The same is true of Jimmy Carter and the rest of them.
Here's another knee slapper: Michael Moore and Larry Flynt are semi-official spokespersons for the Democrat Party! Maybe they'll get the "Nobel Peace Prize" next!
