No.

The only people who think that Darwinian evolution is an attempt at replacing God are religious people of little faith.

Did you read the article? I am not saying that they will be successful--because I do not think they will be--but they are certainly attempting to remove God.

If you do not realize that fact, you must be sleeping under a rock.

Please don't adopt liberal talking points.

It is entirely possible for intelligent people with full information to come to different conclusions.

Don't go Dem on us. Please don't adopt the idea that because someone disagrees with you (is a Creationist/Evolutionist) they must not fully understand, or they must not be all that smart, or they just don't grasp the evidence, etc.

It is possible to be an intelligent "Creationist." Sometimes people just read the evidence differently.

"The only people who think that Darwinian evolution is an attempt at replacing God are religious people of little faith."

The only people who say they don't think that Darwinian evolution is an attempt at replacing God are religious people of little knowledge and atheists who are being disingenuous.

So you're suggesting that people such as Rabbi Avigdor Miller ("Sing You Righteous") have little faith?

No.

The only people who don't understand that Darwinian evolution is logically incompatible with theism understand neither Darwinian evolution as a philosophy nor theism, let alone Biblical theism.

One can talk to a miriad of evolutionists on any given day who say God doesn't exist because evolution is a fact. Your statement is most incorrect.

I have to agree with you. It doesn't diminish God's power and influence to think that he actualizes the physical cosmos from which many material forms (including Man) arise.

I think one of the problems we have in trying to comprehend the Almighty is that, existing in the sphere of time, we tend to constrain God to the limitations of time.

Actually evolution is a religion, when you take the time to do a research on the false findings, and faith you would need to have. The whole concept of evolution is to state a belief, that man and organisms come from a rock! Exactly a rock, if you do your research, take the time to read all the books on evolutuin, it is a false religion, that we do not have to answer to a supreme being!

Doesn't it depend on what is meant by Darwinism?

For example, I interpret this to mean the notion that without the action of an intelligent designer, just blind natural selection and mutations, there arose the diversity of living beings we see and the diversity of living plants as well. That none of this apparent design, as Dawkins calls it, requires a Creator or Designer. It just happened over lots of time.

Such a definition of Darwinism necessarily replaces a Designer by definition. Hence no need for a God or if there is a God he doesn't really matter to matter!

Or if you are a believer that a god used evolution to bring us about then what in the world is this god for in the first place?? Did this god cause the various mutations and then make sure the best survived? If this god had that kind of power then why in the world would I want to believe in such a deity? Evolution from one kind of animal to another is ridiculous.

Have you read Behe and learned about "irreducible complexity?" Evolution as a theory is hog wash and is unnecessary for any modern scientific invention or discovery.

"The only people who think that Darwinian evolution is an attempt at replacing God are religious people of little faith."

Actually they're very religious people with very strong convictions.

But it goes much further than replacing God. Religion gives way to culture. Culture gives way to the continued procreation and survival of the people within that culture. Therefore, the replacing/killing of God is the killing of religion, which it is to say the annihilation of its culture and, hence, its people.

Replacement of God is tantamount to the extinction of a people. When it comes down to being extirpated, people will fight it to the end.
