December 1990-from St. Pete's Times, "Mrs. Schiavo... underwent surgery, performed by Dr. Yoshio Hosobuchi of the University of California at San Francisco in December, to implant a stimulator in her brain. The brain stimulator implant was a success, said her husband, Mike. Mrs. Schiavo is slowly emerging from the coma at the Mediplex Medical Center, a neurological care center in Bradenton, he said. She will undergo at least a year of speech, occupational and physical therapy."

He won the medical malpractice suit November 1992, payment arrived about Jan. 1993

FV SAYS: There USED to be a newspaper article about a special party for Terri's amazing progress at Mediplex. I can't find it now. I found some more good stuff. I'm going back to November, 2003 Thread to get it.

What is really disturbing to me is that Terri was making progress at Mediplex Medical Center and then suddenly in July of 1991, Michael Schiavo ordered all therapy stopped and he moved her to Sabal Palms Nursing Home up in Pinellas. At some point, they asked her to leave after awhile because of all the publicity surrounding Terri.

MICHAEL SCHIAVO, AS ENABLED BY JUDGE GEORGE GREER, WHO HAD A DUTY TO PROTECT TERRI'S INTERESTS, HER PHYSICAL CONDITION AND HER FINANCES, FAILED, CRIMINALLY AND CIVILLY. Why is Greer still a Judge? He should be in jail. I wish some big time prosecutor would READ THIS THREAD!!!!!

THERE'S A BIG CRIMINAL CASE HERE AND NO HEROES WITH A BADGE WILL CRACK IT.
