The MTSF was one amazing group of standup selfless people.
They deserve a great deal of credit for all their hard work!
I still think it was stolen here.
Boy am I glad that didn't happen here. People calling me and people showing up at my door campaigning usually results in losing my vote... and with too many pests, it almost always turns into a vote for the other guy. I am 1000% sure that wouldn't have happened with this particular vote, but it sure wouldn't have left me with any warm fuzzies either.
Yeah, its amazing when you think about it...1500 extra bodies in key swing states!
Thats a lot of people!
Imagine the gall of people moving across state lines to support their candidate trying to pass themselves off as home grown supporters.
Of course, dims would NEVER do something like this.
They can't because the smell would give them away in an instant
The best part was these folks volunteered their efforts and paid their own way!
Talk about a self-sacrificing!
I travelled from Utah to Reno, Nevada to volunteer in the 72 hour push and had the pleasure of working next to some Texas Strike Force people who worked the phones with me. One lady whose name escapes me was rather good at it so we made her our "closer" and when we encountered reluctant voters whom we thought could be persuaded, we vectored those to her and continued down our lists.
It was a solid effort and Nevada was barely saved, and of course when the effort was underway we could not know we could win without it. Solid though the effort was, I certainly saw things happening that I thought could be improved.
We won, but we can do better. We may need to next time.
Drove by those folks and gave them a big thumb's up as I went by.
haha, Nevada to Pa To Michigan to New Mexico.
These folks were all over the map!
Dear Republican Leaders,
Your help is needed!! But we need to hear from you TODAY!!
The NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) is once again relying on Texas to help deliver a stronger majority in the US Congress. Two Congressional run-offs require our help; one is in Lafayette and the other is in Lake Charles.
The NRCCs goal is to put 150 Texans in Louisiana for the 72-hour weekend. The election is on Saturday December 4 and we will be leaving on the evening of Wednesday December 1.
The Houston area bus will depart at 6:30pm on Wednesday and will arrive in Lake Charles around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. Houston area volunteers will join the Central Texas volunteers and will work with them Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Houston bus will return around 10:00 am on Sunday and should arrive in Houston around 1:00 pm.
The NRCC and our hosts in Louisiana provide all travel, meals, and accommodations.
We need your enthusiasm and hard work! This will be another very exciting and rewarding time for Republicans. We did so much for the President and our Republican Congressional candidates; join us in helping our neighbors in Louisiana.
Please contact us with any questions or to volunteer at the Texas STOMP to Louisiana Headquarters in Austin at 512-342-0616 or via email at mac@mccallassoctx.com.
Thank you so much for your time and interest! Please forward this email to anyone who may be able to help us STOMP to Victory in Louisiana!

In 02, Mike Rogers(My congressman) organized a couple of STOMP busses from his district to go door to door try and take the closest open swing district to us(Indiana's district 2 - Tim Roemer's? old one). It helped work. Chris Chiccola (sp) won the open seat.
