Yeah, we know, but we just can't resist: "Twenty John Kerry supporters met for their first group therapy session in South Florida Thursday, screaming epithets at President Bush as they shared their emotions with licensed mental health counselors," reports the Boca Raton (Fla.) News, which simply owns this story. "The first of several free noontime therapy sessions at the American Health Association in Boca Raton was designed to treat what mental health counselors have dubbed Post Election Selection Trauma (PEST)."

The News's reporter wasn't allowed to attend the meeting but received an "anonymous transcript." Here are some choice quotes:

I wonder if they have considered fact therapy. The people I know who are rabid Kerry supporters are generally fact-deprived. They actually believe the crap spewed by Michael Moore and the like. They believe things that have no basis in facts.

But on second thought, it would probably not work. I have had little success trying to dispell their mistaken notions. If they want to believe that Bush is worse than Hitler and is coming to take their children to die for oil, they will believe those things.

In 2000, it was "We're too stupid to vote correctly."

In 2004, it is "We're too mentally unstable to deal with the loss."

I had said in jest just before the election that if President Bush wins expect sales of perscription anti-anxiety and anti-depressant medications to zoom through the roof. It appears that it's no longer a joke.
