Yep, just like the Basque "separatists" and Palestinian "activists". Scumbag terrorists one and all.
And we are supposed to be surprised at their actions. They kill each other to try and make U.S. look bad! Trying to control what they can to get ahead and what they want at anyones expense and detriment.
I'm not surprised at this. Some people on this forum are complaining about the amount of aid we are giving, but one thing they forget is that it is in the best interests of the US to restore and preserve stability in Indonesia and the surrounding areas, because they are under assault from Muslim militants who would love to use this disaster as an occasion to grab power.
Let the American military do all it can to help the survivors, and let them deal ruthlessly with any Islamists who get in the way.
I can't believe these clowns have the desire or even the capacity to continue armed insurrection after such a terrible disaster. But if they do, we should slaughter them in large numbers without pity or hesitation.

I have read the whole of Aceh is a community of extreme Islamics (read AlQueda) living under strict Islamic law. They are at war with the Indonesian government to bring the whole nation under the same Islamic rule.
They are basically the same bunch that the coalition is working at killing off in Iraq. It seems odd if American money is being given to save them in Aceh. I don't know what to think of that, it just seems a little ironic if this is true.
This is just f---ing disgusting.

The Indonesian military takes out the trash...
things are looking up!
Aceh introduces Islamic law
CNN.com (excerpted)
JAKARTA, Indonesia -- The governor of Indonesia's troubled Aceh province says the region has implemented Islamic "Sharia" law as of the beginning of the new year.
Speaking during a visit to the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, Governor Abdullah Puteh said the change was part of a special autonomy package extended to the province last year which would usher in a "new era" for Aceh.
The strict Muslim code provides rules on alcohol, dress and personal conduct, but also in theory demands amputation for theft and execution for adultery.
However, Acehnese clerics say Sharia law has been unofficially practiced in the province for some time before it became official policy.

The irony is jaw-dropping, isn't it? Here we have an area so beloved by UBL that is was his 2nd choice for setting up camp if Afghanistan didn't work out. As it is- they have an Islamic government and train/support terrorists. Then a wave from hell hits em...they get no help for 5 days...and the FIRST people they have come to their aid are U.S.Marines bringing food, water and medicine.
I call that irony of a high order.
Weren't some AQ trained and housed in that area at some time?
Regardless of how we proceed, I hope President Bush announces that Americans will NOT be delivering medical attention or aid to Somalia under any circumstances.
...Not after the disgusting spectacle of killing and dragging our servicemen around in their filthy streets and cheering.
This is only the beginning.
Getting aid to the victims will get bloodier and bloodier. The NGOs want it funneled through them.
One more thing: Can you image the intel resource Aceh is right now? Not a bad place to fill with Marines.
