Chicago Judge Dismisses Civil Lawsuit Accusing William Kennedy Smith of Sexual Assault The Associated Press
CHICAGO Jan 4, 2005 A judge on Tuesday dismissed a civil lawsuit filed against William Kennedy Smith by his former personal assistant who alleged he sexually assaulted her.
Smith, the nephew of Sen. Edward Kennedy, has repeatedly denied he assaulted Audra Soulias, who filed the lawsuit in August.
According to Soulias, Smith bought her drinks while she was celebrating her birthday in January 1999, and after taking her to his Chicago home, dragged her upstairs and assaulted her.
In 1991, a Florida jury acquitted Smith of sexual assault and battery on a 30-year-old woman he had met at a night club. He said his sexual relations with the woman had been consensual
Should have called Uncle Ted's Cab Company. Save time and money.
Excuse me, but why would ANY woman go near this pervert. HELLO
dejavu all over again...
If Kennedy Smith is innocent, I'm glad for this outcome. No one deserves the pain of a false accusation like this (just as no one deserves an assault, if that's what happened).
This guy oughta be considered damaged goods by any woman near him, but he shouldn't be falsely accused. You'd think, with his history, that if it wasn't love for him he'd use some of the Kennedy money to dial an escort service and avoid the hassle.
You must not have watched the trial in the first ( actually not first incident) rape .
You're right. I'm not a fan of celebrity trials and I didn't watch the first one. From the tone of your post, I think you're saying the accuser made a good case.
All evidence at the trial pointed to his guilt. one of the bimbo jurors said she voted for aquittal because he smiled at her. she even went to the after trial party. But worse than that is that it came out that there were numerous other allegations from women that were not even pursued. What does this guy have to do KILL someone?
What does this guy have to do KILL someone?
His Uncle did.
What's the story here? Sounds like normal male Kennedy behaviour to me...
