Store owners did the right thing too. Good story, all the way around.

Now to run that POS clerk out of this country!

That's the type of people that make up the democRAT party, traitors one and all of them.

There is no place in this country for traitors, not for a single one.

Yes, that is what I thought. And I imagine that the owner was honestly appalled.

Just a guess: given that it was a convenience store, what are the chances that the now-fired employee was a member of TROPTM?

"When we heard about this thing last week, we fired the guy that minute, but we apologized to the mom and everybody," owner Munirah Kabani said.

Oh the asshat can discriminate and insult a Marine but if he gets the living sh!t stomped out of him, he is the victim of a hate crime. I think some things should be considered freebies. Stomping on people who disrespect service members, people who talk bad about your mother and anyone who sticks their ass up in the air to pray should be considered a freebie with no charges filed.

This is not just about convenience stores.

It should apply equally to all service employees, News employees, TV network employees, and any other tiny hitlers who think that having a job entitles them to inject their personal (usually ignorant) political perspective into the service s/he is being paid to provide.

Amen.

Don't know the owner's nation of origin or religious preference. More importantly, who cares? They did the right thing.

Doing right is doing right, regardless of the religion involved.

"Store owners did the right thing too. Good story, all the way around."

You sure the owner didn't just put him to work in another store down the block or a few streets over?

You know the clerk was probably a family member.

Sounds to me like you want an open season on all Moslems. Is that about it? Kinda makes a joke of our freedom of religion, don't you think? Not all Moslems are our enemy. We're in Iraq to help a whole bunch of Moslems establish a democratic form of government. Is that wrong?

Took some digging at the story's link, but the original email from the Marine's sister does ID the culpret as being ME.

Store owner's name, Munirah Kabani, kinda gives a hint, don't you think?

And yeah, open season on Muslims might not be that bad an idea; wouldn't be any reflection on "freedom of religion" either, unless you define "religion" loosely enough to include the degenerate belief system called "islam".

True. My comment was more along the lines of wondering whether the refusal of service had to do with the religious affiliation of the employee.

And when the liberal nutjobs get a hold of this story, the ranting and raving about the employee's rights will begin.

8th street or 8th ave.? *th street would be downtown and 8th Ave. would be on the south-side in my neighborhood. Ever since that demonrat Moncrief got to be mayor our city has been n a downward slide like Dallas has been in for the last 30 years.
