TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

Posted on 01/31/2005 9:14:49 PM PST by TAdams8591

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

I need some help. Remember the TV commercials of Greer last August? Does anyone know the names of the people in the commercial with the exception of Greer, Hellickson and shea. Does anyone know the name of the deputy---could it be Cunningham? Does anyone know the first name? I understand there may be attorneys appearing in the ad--does anyone know there names? Your help would be greatly appreciated

You got that right! It is very frustrating how they are interchanging terminology to make it more palatable.

Never mind that Michael has illegally forbidden all efforts to feed Terri by mouth.

Thanx 4 this link BykrBaby. I copied this from it:

Visit this link. Is this where we are headed? http://www.nih.gov/news/NIH-Record/06_16_98/story06.htm

Here's an excerpt:
During the Nazi era, the medical establishment and the government were powerfully influenced by and largely adopted the preventive view as the dominant philosophy of medical care. Healthy people, who could contribute most to the general welfare, were of primary concern. The chronically ill or disabled, mentally or physically, were seen as a drain on society, requiring the healthy and robust to care for them and consuming a disproportionate amount of the country's resources while contributing nothing themselves. It was this view that allowed programs of forced sterilization and euthanasia to be carried out, with the cooperation of large numbers of the German medical profession, said Reich. He described this manipulation of the meaning of "care" as a threefold betrayal of medicine: a subversion of the moral standards of medicine, a betrayal of the trust and legitimate expectations of patients, and a betrayal of the public responsibility of the medical profession.

well, she should never have been on medicaid because there used to be alot of money in her account for her care and rehabilitation. It is my understanding that once this info became public, Felos said that she was no longer receiving medicaid....but that was back in late 2003 or early 2004

This brings up a question - how would HINO be stopped from removing the tube? The policeman? (Is there one there 24/7? Is one present in the room during HINO's visits (if there are any?))

22 Would a kick be the kind of direct blow that would produce that femoral abnormality?

24 That would be a possibility, yes.

25 Would being thrown into a sharp furniture corner?

2 That would be a possibility.

3 Would being struck with some sort of blunt object like a golf club or something do it?

5 Yes.

Absolutely disgusting that the Sheriff, the Attorney General, Greer, and the Governor have ALL IGNORED this deposition! Absolutely LUDICROUS that they can ALLOW Felos to claim that Terri received these injuries from OSTEOPOROSIS instead of via TRAUMA, as Dr. Walker said is likely.

Click http://www.rightmarch.com/media/FlyerforTerri.pdf to download a PDF of a bulletin/flyer printed twice on an 8 1/2 piece of paper.

I appreciate the desire for brevity, but it might be good to mention that doctors have said it is likely Terri would be capable of swallowing food if allowed to do so.

The removal of a feeding tube is a surgical procedure. A doctor would have to perform it. See here.

Annoyance of Crist's office is good. He's not doing his job.

THERE IS A WILD CARD TO REPORT IN THE LOBBYING OF THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE. As reported by wfla television channel 8 this evening, THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE IS WORKING ON A BILL THAT WOULD FOREVER BAN THE DEHYDRATION AND STARVATION OF ANY PERSON IN FLORIDA unless of course they have a written directive.

The wild card is that FLORIDA'S SENIORS ARE AFRAID OF EUTHANASIA, Thanks, grandma and grandpa. Thanks for standing up for Floridians! Seniors have been contacting the Florida Legislature to change the law. BRAVO!

This sounds real good. Maybe one of the legislatures finally took us seriously. There's no reason this can't be passed. I wonder who is sponsoring this bill?

Subject: Hearsay wishes of Terri Schindler Schiavo 10 yrs. after alleged "accident"

The words below inside the quotation marks are the actual words spoken during the Jan 00 death trial. It is on the basis of these words that Judge Greer concluded that "Terri wants to die." Remember that Terri did not have any advanced directives, living will or anything in
regards to her wanting to be starved and dehydrated to death. Remember also that she has been heinously denied rehab and therapy for 10+ years. This is it:

Joan Schiavo:

In the context of discussing friends of Joan's who decided to remove their year-old infant from a "ventilator machine":

"She had said that if her and Michael were ever put in that kind of a situation that that would be a situation that she really would not want to have to deal with, but she knows that her and Michael would make the best decision and that would be to do the same thing my
girlfriend and her husband did because she would not want to put the baby through anything like that." (Joan Schiavo Trial testimony 232:18-25, 1/24/00).

"Happened Maybe â ˜85 or â ˜86." (Id. 237:17).

"Her comments related more to what she would do as a parent for a child. (Id. 238-17-19).

They took all the tubing and everything off the baby." (Id. 233:2-3)

"We had stated that if that ever happened to one of us, in our lifetime, we would not want to go through that. That we would want it stated in our will we would want the tubes and everything taken out." (Id. 233:12-16)

In the context of Joan and Terri watching a movie about a diving accident:

"No. She did not want to live like that. She didn't want to go through that. Have people come and see her like that. Do that to her family and friends." (Id. 234:19-22).

"We had said during the time with that movie, at one time we had said that if, that we had always wanted stated, my husband and myself, make up a will. She would want it stated, and myself, I would, if it came down to something like that, we would not want any kind of life support." (Id. 236:25-237:5)

"The situation with my girlfriend's baby was when she lived here, not in Florida." (Id. 244:17-19)

Michael Schiavo:

In the context of Michael discussing a conversation with Terri about her grandmother's death and the effect on her Uncle Fred:

"She says, 'If I ever have to be a burden to anybody, I don't want to live like that.'" (Michael Schiavo 31:1-2; 1/24/03)

"She made the comment to me that she would never want to be like that. Don't ever keep her alive on anything artificial." (Id. at 33: 7-8)

Scott Schiavo:

In the context of the immediate aftermath of Michael's grandmother's death. The grandmother had been on a ventilator the last few days. Afterward, her grandchildren and spouses (including Terri) gathered at a local country club for lunch:

"And Terri made mention at that conversation that, 'If I ever go like that, just let me go. Don't leave me there. I don't want to be kept alive on a machine.' Pretty much everybody at the table that was in the discussion had made the same comment. No way I want to be kept alive on a machine." (Scott 1/24/03 at 102:18-24)

"And Terri was sitting with us and Terri made the mention that she would never want to be kept alive like that. You know, if it is her time to go, it's her time to go." (Id at 106:22-25)

Representative Wise and another representative were both on my tv saying that "seniors were afraid of euthanasia" (contrary to what the death lobby's been saying). The Florida Legislature wants to make the best bill so that we WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS EVER AGAIN. And, Terri's supposed to be included but watch Felos fight that. FELOS NEEDS TO GO BACK TO MILKING GOATS IN THE GREEK ISLES. He's done milking innocent Floridians.

MAJOR GRIPE WITH SHEPERD SMITH. HE SAYS THE FEEDING TUBE IS KEEPING TERRI ALIVE. Not exactly. Terri's breathing, her organs, her body is completely keeping her alive. ANYBODY WOULD STARVE IF THEY TOOK OUR FOOD AWAY. The feeding tube is NOT KEEPING HER ALIVE. It is the way she eats, that's all. FOX 1-888-369-4762. Terri and God is keeping Terri alive, THAT LITTLE TUBE ISN'T KEEPING HER ALIVE BUT SHE NEEDS IT UNLESS OR UNTIL SHE GETS TO LEARN HOW TO SWALLOW AGAIN! She can swallow her saliva already! Shep, don't make me mad!
