If the alums threaten the Regents with a reduction in giving, they'll offload this guy. Tenure or no tenure, he's gone.

He's just a blowhard that will sell his soul for attention.

HEYYYYYYYYYY!

Looks like we WON this round. I sent out an e mail with info and links to Protest Warrior chapter leaders in NY/NJ, and I know there have been several Freeper ping lists conducting a telephone and e mail campaign on this guy.

He resigned as department chair at CU, now his speaking date at Hamilton College has been cancelled; next objective is getting CU to sh*tcan him outright!

We don't need guys like this around our young skulls full of mush for ANY reason - not even as 'dinosaur exhibits' in the "Liberal Museum of Unnatural Revised History"!

Does anyone have a copy of the original essay? I doubt I'd be able to choke my way through it, but it'd be interesting to read.

I saw the College Republicans at CU protesting this turd--and CNN Headline News just said he was tenured.

They may have to pay him for a while, but I'd put this guy in an office all by his lonesome for a few years, having no teaching schedule or access to students. He'll probably sue, but let him. He's a vile creature.

Oh dear God. I just found and read the original essay - it's worse than I thought. I'll post it tonight from my home computer for the derision of all.

Does anyone know who the moron was that invited this goof to begin with? Whoever they are, they should be fired. Secondly, I'm wondering if they go ahead and pay him anyway.

"I have never said that people 'should' engage in armed attacks on the United States, but that such attacks are a natural and unavoidable consequence of unlawful U.S. policy. As Martin Luther King, quoting Robert F. Kennedy, said, 'Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.'"

Look you stupid idiot: When you say we are to blame for the attack, you may not be saying you support the terrorists. But, you can't talk about us as if we are guilty and actually expect people to support you. There is only a minor distinction, not a major difference between you supporting the terrorists and just saying we are partially to blame. After all, by saying we are partially to blame due to our policies, you are expressing sympathy for the terrorists and partially validating their actions.

I e-mailed him this.....I was much more tactful in my e-mail:

"Sir,

I am appalled by what you have said regarding 9/11.

I also read your statement on your site. I believe that every story has two sides.

However, when I read your response, it was less than convincing. Your word choice was very poor in your piece. And frankly, based on your previous writings, on marxism and the like, I wonder just how much sympathy you actually do give to the terrorists, contrary to your protestations.

There is no major difference, only a difference in slight distinction, between actually supporting the terrorists and giving their actions legitimacy by attacking the victims of their attacks and saying the policy of the United States brought the attacks on itself.

You do not seem to understand this. I have called your college and demanded you be fired immediately."

No doubt threats were made, but I think it likely that the lefty nut-burgers withdrew the invitation because they came to understand the folly of letting this "man" speak, and they had to dis-invite the guy. . . so. . . .they certainly can't look like the fools they are, no way, so they allege the security concerns were insurmountable because of hateful people (conservatives, of course) and the invitation was withdrawn. . .a "Not me, not me!" moment.

Cancel the talk, blame others and avoid looking like fools.

Two words: Nancy Rabinowitz.

She can't be fired - she has tenure.
