Patricia Pokriots fabricated a story about a baby being thrown out of a car in order to cover her pregnancy from a disapproving family. In an age where it not only common place for women to have an abortion for selfish, cosmetic, or other unjustifiable and immoral reasons she not only carried through with the pregnancy but went to great lengths to ensure it would be cared for by a loving family.
Was this baby thrown from a car?
I agree. I'm very pro-life and have read quite extensively on the cruelty of abortion, but I have never seen a photo like this before.
Prolife bump!
There are 2 kinds of people in this world: those who understand and those who don't.
That was a wink in support of the comment telling you to move on... which obviously didn't hit home. I'm not sure why you find this issue a joking matter but I assure you, the rest of us are quite serious.
That baby looks to be about full term. Not a doc, but I've seen a few.
Where did this picture come from? I went to the url but there was no background for it.
SAme here -- I've been involved in pro-life since 1980, and haven't seen one as clear as this one.
I'm not sure how old that baby was but I'm guessing from the definition in his limbs and genitals that this was a partial-birth abortion that occurred in the third trimester.
I'd guess past 32 weeks gestation.
The picture is on the front page of conservativelife.com and it's stored on their server. I'll inquire and see if I can track the source.
Suffer the little children... Just cannot begin to imagine how someone could do this. Sigh...
As disgusting and graphic as they are, these photos are completely necessary to change hearts and minds. NOTHING hits home like a picture like this. Some may be offended by it, I know I certainly am. Not offended by the person who posted it, but offended by the person who caused it.
We can argue, cite scientific facts, and religious values till were blue in the face, but nothing is going to change a mind like this picture.
Thanks for the warning and keep praying to God that abortion will end as soon as possible.
I would guess the baby is 5 - 6 months old for head to body ratio and size of adult hand, note I find infanticide of this stage this no more or less reprehensible than a partial birth abortion. Just interested in source because it's the first thing pro-infanticide types will ask.
Very well said, thank you. I am also very offended by this picture and even more so by the people who try to cover it up. Knowledge is power and the FR is our voice.
Last comment, then I'll leave you to your discussion.
In my younger days, I was on the fence on the abortion issue as a lot of young people are. One of the main things that kept me from coming to the only logical conclusion on the issue, that is that it is murder, was my disdain at having pictures like this posted in my face. It was a majot turn off, and in my mind categorized the pro life movement as a bunch of whack jobs.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, in my opinion this approach does more harm than good for the cause.
Have a wonderful evening.
I'd estimate 24-26 weeks.
God, forgive us. Let us work steadily for the end of this national sin. Preabortion sonograms should be supplied freely (from Christian funded organizations) to all applicants for abortions ... in the name of freedom of information and full disclosure. As clear a picture of their child should be given to them BEFORE the release of liability papers are signed.
Ok.
Do you recommend we destroy all documentation of the holocaust, the rape of Nanking, Andersonville, lynchings?
The fact that you find the people showing you the picture more of a turn-off then the picture itself says a lot about you. Atrocities happen every single day in this world and its people like you who choose to look away that allow them to continue.
