Like I said in the first post, before I read the Manifesto--Free Republic desperately needs all of its "rascals"---I became addicted to this site because of posters like Pukin Dog---it won't be the same until he returns---

Tell PD to quit being so hard on himself. All Freepers screw up sometime, like I did recently when I got mad at all my NRA pals over a particular issue with the election.
Better yet, I'll tell him myself: "Yo Pukin Dog, whatever's bugging you you're among friends here. Keep reading God's word and be blessed."

Pukin - what a great un-Opus! I wish you luck, and it sounds like you're on the right path to keep your head level.

One thing that I've found to help me out (in addition to prayer, which is a somewhat new one by me) is EXCERCISE! Don't go overboard too fast, and make sure to stretch and warm up. But getting your heart up into the aerobic zone does wonders for both the body and the mind. (The only problem is that a vigorous exercise schedule cuts into FReeping time - but it's worth it in the long run.)

I think I know what the dog is talking about with the anger/venom thing. I went through it myself, I got off for a few weeks.

I think it is needed for stability at times. This place can get you in a tizzy and keep you there if you do not take a break.

Take care dog. I will be 54 next month and feel worn out.(cuz I am)

Life's too short, so I will try to enjoy what I have left anyway. Nobody can stop me!!!
