USNWR ^

Posted on 03/02/2005 1:03:35 AM PST by MindBender26

The 2008 Five Five Democrats have begun informal staff interviews for 2008 presidential runs, according to a few who've been interviewed. So far, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is dubbed "the most aggressive" in seeking out aides, followed by Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack . The others are Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh, former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards , and 2004 candidate Sen. John Kerry .

This has already been a four year watch on Hill for Pres. Now we get another four years only the next four will be louder as the MSM positions her to take it.

Watch 'em all run to the center...The whack job "base" will keep their mouths shut...

Agree with the former, disagree with the latter. The Far lefties will not keep quiet by a long shot, just spend a few excruciating hours on DU or dailykos. If the Dhimmicrat frontrunners move right the Watermelon party has their best chance of pulling a Perot. You may want to look around locally and find what alternative leftist parties you can support. If not with money at least with "awareness" efforts in Dem stronghold precincts.

I don't think the wacko base like MoveOn will keep its mouth shut -- not until the nomination is assured. They can't help mouthing off.

Well we kinda got the hint when she started moving to the center. That woman doesn't move to the center on issues for nothing. She's been listening to her husband and he's pushing for her to run.

"One does not interview "agressively" for staffers for a campaing one does not intend to run! "

Follow the money staff. The best managers, pollsters, media pros, etc... will only work for the best candidates whom they think are willing to do what it takes to win.

The best candidates will start by hiring the best staff.

However there will also be a lot of "vanity" candidates in 2008 who have very little staff other than direct mail and Internet fund-raising employees.

She can't be planning to run for re-election to the Senate then.

Why not? It didn't stop Lieberman. She can win the Senate race without campaigning specifically for it.

Can imagine RNC is rubbing their hands together at the thought of campaign contributions rolling in -- Hillary will not only get out the votes against her, she will be our major fundraiser. She opens her mouth, lies, and money rolls into the Republican candidate and RNC!

Going to be fun to watch as she moves to the center with her mouth and votes liberal in the Senate just like Bayh is now doing.

I'm sick of this crap. Its 4 years away. Can't we have a few months of no campaigns? Its this stuff that leads leads to cynicism.

Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh

Nah........ he's a closet "progressive" socialist like the rest of the Presidential pack.

Yeah, exactly - 'cause he's already indicated that he wants to be co-president, using other words, of course, just the other day. But the intention is still there.

I'd be apprehensive to sit on my laurels for a few months and let Hillary gain momentum. IMO, it's best to keep abreast of the beast.

Who cares? She won't be President. There are too many others out there who are sharper, brighter and know what they are talking about. let hillereee run. It might end up being the best comedy show ever.

No I meant no harm to you.. my beef is that theses guys like Hitlary are in one constant campaign mode. Its a deliberate attempt to undermine the will of the people who gave GWB FOUR more years. It means that for the next 4 yrs all we'll see is posturing in preparation for the next cycle. I was just sad to see this crap of the oposition (not your wise attention to their misdeeds)seem to take an unecessary front stage(and if they had their way-upstage)to GWB's presidency

Besides the felon vote, Hillary minions will get millions of votes from captive audiences in mental facilities, care facilities, and shelters of all kinds. Absentee ballots that she will absolutely control.
