Helena Arrettines said she went to see Park Avenue plastic surgeon Dr. David Ostad hoping he would make her look like a model.
But now, three years later, she alleges in a lawsuit that she spends her time hiding from people and concealing her scars. Arrettines, 55, accused the surgeon of flubbing her arm liposuction so terribly that she looks like she has "miniature wings."
.........the Queens mother cried. "He mutilated me."
The lawyer handling Arrettines' malpractice lawsuit called Ostad "a complete hack."
"She looks like she was treated in a military outpost in Afghanistan by a first-year intern who barely knew how to sew someone up," said the lawyer, Michael Bender.
"This is so bad it's just insane."
Arrettines, a former cosmetologist, went to see Ostad in 2002. She said his office looked classy and that the smooth, young doctor "exuded confidence."
Arrettines wanted the surgeon to trim the flab on her arms and make her breasts higher and firmer.
She said she knew things were going wrong when she came to during the liposuction surgery and overheard Ostad say, "I took too much out of one arm."
She also accuses Ostad of mangling her boob job and leaving her with misshaped breasts.
Arrettines said Ostad tried but failed to correct the damage. She said she believes the surgeon was angry because she had negotiated a low price.
Now she says she is ashamed to wear sleeveless shirts or go to the beach. She said she feels like "a dead alive person."

Libelling Afghanistan could get this guy sued.
BRAIIIIINS! BRAAAAIINS!
Diet and exercise, folks. The "easy" way often isn't the best way.
Why can't people be happy with the body God gave them?
All she needed, to look like a model, was boobs and to lose thirty-five years.
You agist you.
Hey, a guy's gotta have a hobby.
People like this deserve each other.
When you go shopping for aftermarket bolt on parts you get what you pay for.
Don't know about you, but after having kids, this body was not even close to the body God gave me! lol!
My sentiments exactly. This womans vanity is at least partly to blame.
Quite a slap to the fine medical corps treating our troops in Afghanistan. P!ss on them both.
Diet and exercise removes the fat, yes. But if you went from 400 pounds to 150, you're going to have a h*ll of a lot of skin just hanging in the breeze.
"miniature wings.".........well guys do you want a breast or a wing?
"miniature wings.".........
Soooooooooo, now her arms are covered in feathers?
This doc has a future with the punk/morph crowd.
And yet because of the sacrifice you made you will be loved endlessly until the day you die. Meanwhile the women who doesn't have children for fear of what will happen to her body will be comforted by 10-12 cats, who will most likely eat her the day she drops.
You made the right call. ; )
I am going to argue this one a little bit. We all like to "say" be happy with the body you have, but in reality, the messages that are being sent from every corner of the stratosphere belie the sentiment.
Clothing styles for "middle-aged" women range from frumpy and formless to overly fitted and tight. The "in-between" tailored styles cost too much money (J.Jill, Talbots, etc.). So, since we females would truly not like to relegate ourselves to frumpy & formless, (and all the diet & exercise commercials/articles stress that women should not be formless...and the comments from men, too, for that matter) we strive to achieve "form."
Because a woman is 55, is she no longer allowed to have the feelings of trying to feel beautiful? What is so wrong with helping it along cosmetically? Oh, and all the diet & exercise in the world will not lift sagging breasts or tighten bingo arms. You can tone those muscles, but there is still the loose skin aspect. Especially as a woman ages.
Plastic surgeons screw up, plain and simple. If this were a botched gall bladder removal, I don't think there would be so much cruelty and "she partly deserved it" attitudes on here.

She should have joined a gym. It may not have raised or firmed her breasts, however, it may have brought about better muscle tone. If she were meant to have high, firm breasts, she would have been born with them.
You're a man, aren't you?
