If you google Robert W. Melton, Chief Deputy Director Internal Audit Division and Pinellas County, you will find that this man who has been appointed by the FL legislature to audit the guardianship accounts in Pinellas Co. and has been denied access to do so by Greer, says there have been tons of people like Terri that Greer has assigned a guardian to and once their money is gone (as quickly as the guardians can make it vanish by selling property at below market values, etc.), some of whom have had large sums, Greer then makes the person gone just like he is doing to Terri. He NEVER reverses himself in guardianship cases no matter what charges are brought. One woman was arrested for "kidnapping" her mother and taking her to another state before they did her in. She was not tried and her mother remained in her care, but they never saw a dime of the mother's money despite her attempts to force Pinellas Co. and Greer to disgorge it. Lovely little scam they have going.

I did what you suggested (googled "Robert W Melton" with "Judge George Greer") and this - Guarding the Guardians - was the first hit. Got any more?

I don't believe in conspiracy theories, but I do enjoy reading them. Thank you for your über conspiracy about Judge Greer, a devout Christian and a dedicated Republican.

At any rate, read today's decision by the appellate court. If I'm reading it correctly, it states that even if you [penowa] are appointed Terri's guardian in a freak accident, you have no right to keep Terri's artificial feeding tube.

In other words, the higher courts, not Michael, are calling the shots.

In order to reverse this case, the Florida legislature or US Congress needs to pass a constitutional law. There is still time to prevent Terri's death.

DID YOU GUYS SEE POST #87???? No one has even acknowledged it, let alone comment on it! I think this news is amazing. Here it is again: " If you google Robert W. Then this is the fault of the person in charge. He should have complained all the way to the Governor, and then the Feds with maybe Fox News along the way.

The key is to get the information out.

It is horrible to see that the people in authoritative positions (including DCF who was blocked by Schiavo) not following up to raise hell.

Most interesting post 87. Explains a whole lot. The question is, will something be done about it?

I don't know if it's in this thread or somewhere else that someone posted this link to Robert Melton's recent speech. Here is what that other person linked -- http://www.justiceforfloridaseniors.org/dirty-guardian-tricks.html -- and what it says:
"Dirty Tricks of Guardianships ‚ The Need for Change."
by Robert W. Melton, Chief Auditor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Pinellas County

Pinellas County Internal Auditor Robert W. Melton recently lectured at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg on: "Dirty Tricks of Guardianships ‚ The Need for Change."

Here are just 10 of the "dirty tricks," as outlined by Pinellas County Internal Auditor Robert W. Melton:

1) Guardian creation of a trust: Remove all oversight by the court as a provision of the trust agreement; guardian becomes trustee; provide that the trustee can do whatever they want at their sole discretion.
