I don't believe in Coincidences!
I listened to the Presser by Santorum, Martinez and Harkin(of all people) yesterday. I thought the case must be heard de novo, because that's what all three of them said. Like it was written in the bill. About restarting food and water...they all also said that the Justice would have to do that because it is standard procedure in such a situation. If life and death is hanging on your handling of a case, you order that no harm be done to the party while you hear the case. Otherwise, the party would die before their case could be heard, and no Federal Judge would do that. That is what they said, anyway. It seems this bill is tighter on the language in some respects than the original Senate bill, or that is the impression I got. All three were so certain that the Federal Judge would act quickly and appropriately.

I just never know anymore what a judge is going to do. Today, even, the Republicans were asked when this lands on a judge's desk, what he'd do (as far as taking it or it helping Terri or something like that)....and they said "they don't know." That is my understanding from today's presser.

You are rembering correctly.
Don't lose hope; miracles can and do happen. Something may happen to expose what abuse Greer has done with the law....maybe the Federal judge will find a way to "keep" it from Greer.....if he can't, he may issue an ORDER, to Greer, to allow in x,y,z, to direct medical physicians, MRI's, criminal investigations...who knows? He will/may be there for the family to appeal to if Greer REFUSES to follow orders from the Federal judge......just pray, jrabbit....PRAY!
Judge Lazzara is a supporter of George Felos and Judge Greer. During a hearing in Oct 2003, Lazzara bragged about being appointed by Bill Clinton. Lazzara attacked Terri's family for trying to save her life and praised George Felos.
I don't see how this could possible end up with Judge Greer since his has revealed his incompetence and bias.
