I hope there are enough Republicans voting tonight. Has Nancy Johnson spoke up yet -- the CT liberal "Republican" who opposes Terri? I understand Bobby Schindler put her in her place last week.

Terri has spontaneous activity. This is somebody named Schultz from Michigan. Her brain stem is very robust. She has some cognition and cortical activity. A commissive act will cause the death of a human being. How many others have feeding tubes who breathe on their own. Should their feeding tube be removed too? I think it's wrong. It's unfortunate that this venue is where this issue is decided but removal of this feeding tube is a SLIPPERY SLOPE where the United States SHOULD NOT TREAD.

Please try and refrain form making this a Party Issue. Try and rise above it. Euthanasia is no a Religious issue or a Red vs. Blue issue it is a Human Rights Issue. The Right To Life.
Please try not to take my post badly, it is not intended that way. Just my caution that we do not make this a red/blue issue in order to help Terri.
yes, the vote does not come till midnight tonight. Not all House members are speaking. If you notice that the democrats are getting more time to speak just shows that there are more Republicans there and want to talk as well, they just don't get as much time since the vote is coming here at midnight! I believe in my heart that this will be voted on and get passed tonight!

Has anyone here heard that Terri has developed a high fever due to infection resulting from problems with feeding tube removal?
I do not have an exact source, but I heard it on a blog. Has anyone here heard the same thing - only from an exact source?
