This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they don’t want to be known as the party that killed Terri.
This is American history happening before your eyes.

Most of the speakers were African American in the debate [I had to listen -- modem]. The Congressional Black Caucus is probably 1/2 to 2/3 of the Nays along with Barney Frank and some very liberal Dems...

And what you will see at some point in the not too far future, is the federal courts reestablishing their checks and balances upon the legislative body. Then you will have to learn it, live it, love it. Enjoy your brief elation while you can. But the judiciary will once again flex it's muscle. It's a fact.

Guy who spoke on CSPAN before the seminar callers said they have federal judges in central Florida standing by and would be willing to bet that they are not going to deny. Susan Estrich can wish all she wants -- sounds like another active member of the Party of Death!
I agree with the first part of your statement. There were lots of questions about her injuries - broken bones - compressed arteries - etc. Also .. the husband is a registered nurse. Surely he would know how to inject stuff in order to cause her to experience a heart attack or a stroke. I know there is a drug (which cannot be detected), which causes a heart attack. It's very dangerous stuff.
The husband's treatment of her as her guardian is very suspicious. Why has no one made any attempt to challenge his treatment of her or his statements, "when is this bitch going to die", as reported by some of the nurses.
No TV here - y'all post what is happening via TV. Terri needs to get a meal.
And the Roe v. Wade decision was based on a lie!

There are many, many people who have given the order to pull the plug on a loved one. I suspect Terri's case troubles them, because they want like hell to believe they did the right thing, and not for selfish reasons.
