Amen !!!

I agree with the comparison with Christs death. The LAW killed him. MERCY is above the law. He wasn't given any. He showed us the TRUTH!

God can make lemonaide out of lemons.

I can't help but be cognizant that this whole scenario is going down on the Easter week - If Terri dies on Friday - her crucifixion will NEVER be forgotten...

If all that good and honorable people have done to try to save her fails - those who advocated her execution will live to rue the day for they will be given, one day, the chance to really know what it feels like to be Terri and her family.

T. McAwful is on FOX right now spinning out that the republicans have done all this for political gain. What a puke

and now is a good time to make a list of the FOX folk - those on the dark side and those on the light side. This will prove valuable in the future - good to know who the enemy is. I am SO disappointed in Shep Smith! I would not have thought him to be on the side of death. Napolitano - well, disappointed, but not shocked. He is a judge after all, which means he had the lawyer parsing education which, evidence points to, drains humanity and right and wrong out of a persons brain/

didn't know Hildy aborted her only child with no regrets. If that's true, why are we even talking to her?

got that right!

like p*ssing up a rope - some folk will never be confused by the facts

Yes, know God makes lemonade every day from lemons. Still praying, but whatever happens, there will be good come of all this. For starters, I hope it's the impeachment of a bunch of judges, (or at least fined and /or jailed for contempt of congress),the further meltdown of the Dems, wills changed--not to avoid heroic efforts to save ones life, (what kind of idiot doesn't want to live?) but changed to cut ungrateful and grasping survivors out of any portion of ones estate if ones plug is pulled.

The irony has struck me as well.

She will feel no pain.

Yeah. That looks beautiful and natural and painless.

I can remember when this was still a pro-life party.

well, if it's going to be legal to murder someone without any clear evidence of their wishes, - etc. and claiming she is "brain dead" - (which many doctors disagree with) - then we can off most of the dim/socialist politicians - wouldn't be hard to find experts to declare them brain dead

Wow, Kent! That is an incredible pic. Know where it came from? Rescued from concentration camp?

the Japanese also deliberately starved thousands of our prisoners - they reveled in it - much as some we see today -

thanks for the info. And to think all of that was done as legal according to German law. We really have to fight against such laws. worry were now going to follow suite.

"heard on Laura Ingles this AM that there were 30,000 on feeding tubes in this country today. Wonder how long it'll be before they all jump on the new bandwagon of compassion?"

I don't know. I wonder how many of them failed to do a Living Will (or DNR)...and have dueling family members fighting over life vs. death. Sometimes it helps to know the details of these cases.

God can make lemonade out of lemons.

I too am afraid for my country but good can still come of this.

I wonder if the Church will beatify her. I don't know about anyone else and I'm a Baptist, but if Terri dies, I'm going to start asking for her intercession for me and my family and in particular all those who are in danger of euthanasia, as she is. I believe one day she will be recognized as a saint of God.

Depends on if miracles can be attributed to her.

Simple suffering is not enough.

I hope this will serve to put fire in the guts of the Senate.

You know, a simple pinch test would disprove that theory.

Her husband has control over all procedures and treatments she receives, and he has not permitted any therapy, videotaping of her responses to stimuli (since that one we see over and over) or even observation by impartial medical people. He's surely not going to allow any more testing.

If a miracle happens that can be attributed to her, does that count?

Getting someone cannonized is a long process.

Somebody nominates and then an investigation is made.

They make a recommendation.

It depends on what else is going on. My mother's nausea from the cancer medication had pretty well eliminated her appetite before she intentionally refused all food. And she was on some heavy-duty painkillers. She said she had little discomfort during the period when her body was adjusting to no food at all, and none from that after a few days. She did drink water the whole time, and was under a doctor's care from the start to the end.

Here Terry Schiavo is already out of it. There is no consciousness, pain-killers are available, and she will be under a doctor's care the whole time.
