Name me ONE time in history where the cost of freedom hasn't been blood. You spit on those who shed their blood and had their shoot outs to give YOU what you have. When I grew up, there was a saying, his side, her side and the truth and I personally feel something was big time wrong with those people, all involved. I know people who had problems with their in-laws, even with their blood but to refuse someone the opportunity a deathbed visit I couldn't imagine the hatred he feels toward those people. It is very frustrating that the media refuses to pick up on any of this stuff. They let this creep go practically unchallenged for nearly his entire diatribe this afternoon, and the complicity of the media in this "culture of death" is quite frightening indeed. Yep. I mentioned the "she never looked so beautiful" quote to a friend who supports Michael Schiavo's position, and even he was creeped out by it. Felos comments have been pretty darn wacky during this whole thing.

This has probably been mentioned, by Rush played Felos the fiend's comments on his show today, and they were unbelievably crass. All about Michael's pain and grief. Terri died in peaceful dignity, according to Felos. Michael had given her that great gift, would you believe. Then it was all about Michael, with slams at her family, parents, and everyone else who cared about her, including the congress and president. And the people out front with placards and prayers were mentioned with dripping disdain. He singled out that priest as having been 'harsh and venomous', that he belonged to a right wing pro life group...well that put the priest in his place. Unbelievable.

I have a disabled little girl. I would expect my government to help me save the life of my child, not condone her murder.

This episode sends the shivers down the backs of any parent with a disabled child. If you don't have such a child, then you will never know how close to home this comes to some of us.

Felos also implied that they could not have Bobby there without having a policeman there in the room which of course would have hindered Terri's dying with dignity.
He made it sound like it was Bobby's fault the police had to be there!!!!
