Terri Schiavo Cremated Amid Family Feud

TAMPA, Fla. Terri Schiavo's body was cremated Saturday as disagreements continued between her husband and her parents, who were unable to have their own independent expert observe her autopsy.
The cremation was carried out according to a court order issued Tuesday establishing that Michael Schiavo () had the right to make such decisions, said his lawyer, George Felos. He said plans for burying her ashes in Pennsylvania, where she grew up, had not yet been completed.
Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, had wanted to bury their daughter in Pinellas County so they could visit her grave.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died Thursday after the removal of the feeding tube that had kept her alive since 1990, when she suffered brain damage that court-appointed doctors determined had placed her in a persistent vegetative state (). Her parents had fought in court to keep her alive, disputing the doctors' opinions and saying there was hope of improvement.

Michael was trying to get MONEY for her collapse...how did he manage to keep that BONE SCAN REPORT out of the suit?
I went and googled Thogmartin and she is exactly right. Do it yourself if you doubt it. Two men were in prison for killing infants by shaking them. The prior ME had totally misdiagnosed the cases. The men insisted they were innocent and Thogmartin reviewed the results of the autopsies and said they were done badly and inaccurately. The ME he testified about was the one who did the McPherson case. Thogmartin's testimony freed these men.

She was just an injured person that had no therapy in the last 13 years. Murder it was.
Oh Lord, I have seen the McPherson photos, you might do a google on Lisa McPherson Scientology death. She was the woman the scientologists starved to death in Clearwater. The photos were incredibly horrible, just like the ones in the link. The ME at the time, Joan Wood, said it was accidental I do believe and ended up losing her job, she was incompetent. Thogmartin replaced her and tried to clean up some of her cases.

I saw a couple of the photo's earlier but they're difficult to pull up on a dial up.
It's a shame some one put them up which will only lead to speculation on both sides. ....may be in violation of the law too. I believe after Ehrnhart died a law was past regarding the publication of autopsy photo's....not the autopsy info just the photos.
You are right Republic. The 'Bone scan' was "entertaining" according to Judge Greer, but he did not allow it.
What picture are you referring to? I haven't seen it.
Like so many hundreds of thousands in our country. God protect them. She was their test case I believe, and they got away with it.
You know I spent an hour reading court records of the Thogmartin cases to get a sense of hhim. I googled and followed links and found the info.
I do not have to cite references for you, you can investigate what MS said or not as you choose.
I don't mind giving people heads ups on where to look but those people are respectful to me and others. You are lacking in that department so you can find it yourself unless you jsut are here to jeer.
It was a picture of the room she was in. There was a window by her bed with the shade up.
